Personally I think the summoners would make really interesting boot enchantments, especially considering the current set is basically homeguard (which is almost a summoner in power level) and then nothing. I think distortion boots are situational despite being a little expensive. Everything else is pretty bad considering the cost of the items.

Well that's not entirely fair, distortion, alacrity and furor have some situational uses but for the most part homeguard is too good to pass up. I'd like to see captain reworked it has the potential to be really cool but it's incredibly underwhelming in application.

Could it possibly be interesting if Flash had maybe a second-long (non-interruptable) wind up time? Not as long of a channel as Fiddle's ult, but something that made it not an insta-jump? It could still be used for surprise initiates with a bit of planning, or an escape as long as you don't die during the wind up.

Huh I suddenly remember my encounter with a smurf vayne seeing that egl, he claimed he was a pro and was sponsored by roccat. Turns out he's in plat and plays those EGLs, I know nothing about any roccat sponsorships unless they're aiming for some niche as fuck audiences. As for the smurf skill, well he tumbled into 3 nami bubbles in a row so make of it what you will.

It would be interesting if there were 10 summoners and your team had to spread them about so each one was only used once.
It's kind of pointless to talk about it but it'd probably be a fun custom game thing. 9 of them are already used situationally. edit: it sure would cause rage in soloq though. omg marksmen you need barrier/cleanse don't take flash i need it mid.

Flash is the coolest summoner, hands down. I would even prefer "Every champ now gets flash for free, but only one other summoner spell slot" over many solutions proposed so far.

They don't throw a spanner in anything. 2 out of 115 is not a spanner. That's insignificant.
