Surprised they didn't go harder on Fizz (Unless there are more nerfs). I honestly think his Q shouldn't be on hit, he can literally miss his ult and still nearly 1 shot a squishy late game.

Takes out some of the pain from running into him in the brush, but doesn't really affect his ability to burst down carries whenever he damn well feels like it.

He needs some counterplay to Q in/hit once with W/E out, and this isn't providing that.

Wait what?

If you're Fizz with a scary early game Fizz build and starting with 50ish AP, this is 10 less damage per auto on your level 2 all in, which means it's more than 10 less damage because you'll have less missing health and take less missing health damage. Also 10 less damage on the initial Urchin Strike.

That's kind of a big deal, even early game.

you're like one of those idiots who look at a hero and think it's completely focused on a single aspect (in this case a level 2 all in) when theres so much more to it

this change changes absolutely nothing in how batshit op fizz is

Looks like a nerf to just the active on-hit damage, not the passive dot.

The AP ratio on the passive isn't what's scary though, it's the missing health damage coupled with all the burst.

And cheep, I really don't appreciate being insulted for no reason. Don't be a dick.

yeah, actually I expected Freeze, Edward, Froggen and Shook to be found pretty quickly but what was most impressive to me personally is that reddit identified the TCM guy within the first hour lol.

The way to calculate these things is basically the ratio of the IP it costs (that is, your time) vs the RP it costs. You want to get a ton of IP for your RP so that you can use your earned IP for everything else. Keep in mind that IP is liquid so if you spend RP for a rune page or champ it means you have more IP for runes and everything else you want (provided that buying stuff doesn't make you want more stuff, huehue).   • The best non-bundle bang for your buck is a 6300 champ on sale though single rune pages are really good too
  • 6300 champs not on sale are still good. Champs that cost 4800 or less you should buy with IP, though I might consider a 4800 if it's on sale.
  • Time IP boosts are alright *IF* you binge on LoL during their duration. By comparison, buying a 6300 champ not on sale is easier and similarly efficient.
  • Per win IP boosts are awful.
  • Skins and XP boosts are the worst by this measure because you don't save IP when you buy them.

Aren't skins the best RP purchases? Since being unbuyable with IP == having an infinite IP cost, it has the absolute best IP/RP ratio possible.

It nerfs toplane ap fizz quite a bit, since in top lane you can get away with w maxing early. But it doesn't address the fact you only need 2 items on fizz to be relevant all the way to the 50 minute mark.

fizz has so many sources of ap damage (and so much overkill damage in many situations) post lich bane that a .2 nerf to a single skill shouldn't be significant in the way similar ratio nerfs to sion and cass were.

the level 2 allin also isn't a particularly successful timing against opponents that are 1) not kassadin and 2) familiar with the matchup

the net decrease in damage will be, at most, in the neighborhood of 100 damage per activation before lich, after which it becomes largely irrelevant. this could impact fizz appreciably in repeated exchanges, but that clearly isn't why he is picked
