Also, I've been playing a bit of Ryze (he's one of the only champs on free week I can stomach), I thought his base movespeed was going to be bumped up to sort of bruiser levels? I know R got buffed but I thought his base was getting nudged up too. Nah, that was a ruse. Its the classic Riot nerf style. They are like "Look we are just changing how you play this champion, now you have to get closer to do damage, but you can run faster to get in closer!" 3 Days later: "Ryze too Fast".

I like Janna even with Ez.
Comparing with Nami: -Passive is fun. More fun if you get mobis. -Tornado is easier to hit than Nami's Aqua Prison and triple tornados are easier than double bubbles. Of course 1.5s > 0.8s, don't get me wrong. -I hate Ebb and Flow, I'd rather have shield. Clutch shields can stall an engage long enough to swing it in your favor. -Zephyr is point and click, Tidecaller's Blessing requires autoattack. -Tidal Wave is more useful than Monsoon but you can do some fun stuff with Monsoon.
I'll still pick Nami over Janna but I don't think Janna is too much of a step down and she can be real fun to play when I'm tired of Nami. Yes, she's damn good at peeling, but she's also really good at chasing people down and locking up people in skirmishes. Also one of the easiest characters to bait people with.

On a more serious note, this is kind of a pet peeve of mine. Today my team took an inhib, all we have to do is recall, instead we screw around near their other inhib tower, don't get anything, stay around trying to do dragon, then decide we have to win another straight up 5v5 without recalling or else the enemy team will get dragon.
Still came out pretty evenly, but holy crap is is that hard to recall and reset the offense?
There's some serious group think that starts occurring- all it takes is for one person to stay too long, and next thing you know you have 4 people staying around too long, and you can't just up and leave or they all die for nothing.
And I feel like this is pretty easy to fix on an individual level, up there with "don't do rotations that are so stupid you lose a tower or three for nothing." So the fact it happens so frequently is extremely annoying.

If you have tenacity against a ramping cc like nasus wither, does the ramp just happen more quickly or does the worst part at the end get cut off?

In Wither's case, the ramp up goes quicker. I remember it was "worst part cut off" originally, but they changed it.

Well, my thoughts on her aside, this is the second time today this is relevant.

She doesn't stun, she roots. Depending on how it works (say if there's a grace period to walking over the grenades to avoid a free root when dropping the ability right on top of an enemy) it can either be absurdly strong at self-peeling, zone control and avoiding ganks, or it can be more reasonable.
Her passive makes me more curious, seeing how in fast-paced fights and in conjunction with strong initiation/assassins it could help her self-peel way more. If you can pick off somebody, using the minigun for %AS and single-target damage and kill it fast, then use the passive to run away from divers while switching to the rocket launcher and its higher range to kite more easily, you're hard to kill.
She also lacks a dash, without relying on long range like Kog'Maw or Varus to make up for it. So I'm pretty curious. Although having so much cc on her W and E kinda annoys me too, especially depending on the size of her E.
If her ult's initial damage is low enough to discourage you to simply spam it at the piled-up enemy team following an initiator, then it could be promising, with the incentive to save it until people start running away or think they're out of the fight, as a finisher. Otherwise it'll be really disappointing once out of the laning phase.

Doesn't Faker take the Korean ladder pretty seriously? I feel like he's just yoloing it up on NA because to be frank the players are worse and he has less invested in it.
Edit: Also how the fuck do you know Jinx doesn't have long range? Part of the champ preview even says her range is potent throughout the game, but there's no numbers listed or anything.
