A) A re-usable ward (1 hp, 90 sec cd) [Upgrades into dropping real wards] B) An item that is basically a mini CV (90 sec cd) [Upgrades into longer range/radius] C) A scanner that lets you reveal hidden wards (90 sec cd) [Upgrades into shorter cooldown/limited oracles effect] These sound like cool ideas non-supports, since supports probably still going to get sightstone/ora, and stuff like cv should be bought pretty early in | ||

Yeah warding in low level games (or even higher level games...) can feel pointless when you're the only one on your team doing it. But remember, it doesn't only keep you safe, it also helps your team be safe and lets you and your team have a good grasp of where the enemy jungler currently is and where he might be going. One ward on either side mid is enough to keep you safe and stop the enemy jungler from going into your jungle through mid and bypassing top/bot wards that way. | ||

Hydra + tank items is the best for Aatrox, but the reason everyone gets BoRK on him is because of the slow the active brings. With the slow nerfed it seems like people will favor the Hydra now. | ||

Gotta be like Lovelin--marginally richer than your support and same gold value as enemy jungler even though you're in a stomp game--and still willing to manmode 1v5 with DBlade+Cutlass. | ||

Problem with Viktor is his Q favours him if he can get the initiative (you only get the shield as the projectile returns) so he's protected from retaliation. Seems to often be the case when I play people who don't understand him, but considering that as Pantheon you want to trade hard early, if I see Viktor walking up to me I'll make sure to Q him as soon as he gets in range so that it won't get shielded even if Viktor does the same. I should have more MR than he has armour, and at low level my Q's on only half his' cooldown, he can't win this way. Think I'd rather cower the first levels, even if it means missing some farm, and take W at level 3 or 4 (instead of skipping it till 8 as I do pretty often when I want to trade). Once the lane is pushed, if the jungler comes you can drop W under Pantheon as he comes to Q you (since you're pushed he shouldn't try to stun you within tower range unless you're low enough to die, and then you fucked up) and since he has no escapes it's at least his Flash burnt, if not a kill. Makes me wonder in which match-ups one would max Q as Viktor, since it trades pretty hard if you can make use of it, but it's so short-ranged and anyone with quick bursts (Kass, Annie, etc.) can unload before your shield comes back. | ||
