Zac is going to take forever to balance as long as they keep in this weird blob stomping mechanic. First of all, he would be a decent laner without any sustain, just based on no mana + easy gapcloser/escape + good base damages + slow. That means that since the blob dropping is random, its really hard for it to be balanced game-to-game. Same with Zed, because if you hurt his numbers, he will lose. Thresh is different because no matter the numbers he will be confoundedly powerful. Honestly, Dark Passage + a diver is better in some ways than blitz hook. | ||

Personally I think Zac's sustain while annoying wasn't the critically broken part of the champion, though it may have further fueled the problem. Rather, the mobility range and silly high base damages seem out of place. This (very slight) nerf may make Zac weak enough in lane that those issues are masked, but I think it makes his kit lopsided in the uninteresting way (as opposed to the cool design way). | ||

When people were toying around with Burning Brush Zyra I thought the general consensus was she was actually still pretty strong with more traditional AP items. | ||

The most disappointing part of Zac for me still is that he isn't amorphous like the preview hinted he might be, what a complete failure to take advantage of unlimited possibilities his character design is. | ||

She does have more CC, but the reason people don't play her is pretty much what Gahlo said to a T, I would say her teamfight is a bit stronger though, more up front burst instead of post mordem. she can however snowball a lane better than Karthus should her lane opponent happen to fuck up a couple times. | ||

I think the reason she's not played mid is because nobody on the professional level plays her consistently. She's definitely a serviceable mid. She's not top tier, but she's not weak either. Mid is also one of the most robust roles in pubs, it probably has the most potentially playable champions. | ||
