Need help! If anyone can link me to the tweet where MonteCristo tweeted how Cloud 9 was the best NA team (or something close to that) right after they qualified for the LCS that would be greatly appreciated. Can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

Kennen? Katarina, Akali, Zac, Morde, Vlad... did I miss any? I'd give it a big ol thumbs down for all of them, did you have a particular champ/situation in mind?

I can't think of many situations where going BT second item is superior to IE second item. Crit damage is a big deal, man.
I think this is probably correct. I wouldn't feel great about not having a vamp scepter sometime during or after triforce is finished, but since Corki relies less on AS and more on single shots, triforce procs, and his R, IE is much better than BT

on Doran's Ring for manaless champs, look at it this way: You don't benefit from the mana regen on the ring at all, so you're paying for HP+AP+two pots. You'd be better off buying an amp tome and one less pot for more AP and a piece of a larger item. If you really need the HP (like let's say you're playing Vlad against an aggressive top like Riven), you might as well buy a Doran's Shield instead, cuz the HP is what you're really after, not the 15 AP.

Been playing Lucian more recently, and I discovered that if I tried to play him more like a standard AD rather than like ezrael, he's far more effective (who could've thought?!). Ditched the BT first for BoRK instead, following up with triforce. Problem is, though, IDK where to go from there. How exactly does his ult scale? I understand that it gives you *some* from AD and *some* from AS, but I'm not sure which nets you the biggest bonus. I tried out Ghostblade the other night as I'd built brutalizer for the ArP, and it felt like a more natural extension than BC was. Turned out alright considering I spent most of the fights trying to kite their incredibly fed nasus around.

Well according to reddit every chinese team now has visas and can go to worlds.
Just gotta wait and see how well they adjust to the patch and jetlag now.

Ignore his ult, you're a clean-up god thanks to your passive and the short cd on your very-high damage Q which gives you a huge burst on top of your mobility from W and E. Basically, your ult isn't there to do damage, but not to not do damage. Iirc there are a bunch of windows where you simply deal more damage from autos than from your ult, and you will always outdamage it if you have spells up because your passive is so strong.
Zenon said he intended the ult to not be too strong in terms of damage so he can give it other perks, like the long 1400 range and the fact that you can keep firing while moving. So it's more a reset for E, a tool to chase, or to be able to run from divers while still doing dps, according to him, and you shouldn't treat it like MF's or Grave's ults.
Lucian hurts so much when he somehow escapes dying and there's only a bunch of mid-low health people for him to chase down. x_x

If you could use his q freely I'd actually play him.

You mean if you could use it from its alleged max range? I don't think that's necessary. It's a decent point-and-click nuke, especially together with his passive, with its current range
|
How is it not a big deal? You can't use it vs most champs because the range is just too low in teamfights. It's fine for lane though.
Like unless that is changed don't really see a reason to pick him since corki/ez do the same poke/burst style but better.

When I play Lucian I'm generally not in range to use it on anyone squishy until it's time for cleanup. I find it serves its purpose well enough when I'm burning down their front-line from a safe position, that purpose mostly being getting a passive proc. The range is fine when you're chasing, cuz you have a dash!

Don't accept his apology cause he's a dirty TSM TSM TSM fanboy and that's what they deserve.

It's whatever, he's fine as long as you pair him with someone that does the analysis, he is a good play by play guy and he does make things *sound* exciting, which is his job. Mostly I avoid critiquing play by play guys, because I've tried to do it - just alone in my room and I can tell I sound stupid, so I'm just glad I'm not the one doing it.
this is why I never bash rappers. I can write the illest lines you ever saw but holy shit I have no flow.
also why I never bash casters too. I just wanna see that they are trying to improve.
on a different note, I like how riot has approached more of their recent champs. I like that Zac zed thresh lissandra will always be relevant. of course they had to change some numbers but I think these champs will go the way of shen, Orianna, tf, etc.. and all the other champions that will always be viable because of the unique utility they bring. I think they are getting better with their champion design, though there is still a lot of improvement to be made. the viable ADC pool is pretty impressive actually. compared to last year.
I hope they figure out their problems with items though. definitely their biggest in game problem imo. although I thought they handled the red pot craze pretty well as there are a lot of viable openers for most roles (except dblades on all ADC).
I guess I forget how young riot is but as we enter the end of S3 I do see them make a lot of improvements despite a few hiccups. they do a pretty good job of catering to both the casuals and tryhards.
I guess I am saying they're doing a damn good job and I am pretty impressed. I just hope it doesn't go to their heads and they keep improving.

is there a site or anything that shows popular picks at dfferent rankings in ranked queue

The build I have been going isn't the best, but so far Dring > Chalice/Seekers into Rylais + SV + Hourglass has been getting me through ranked games pretty easily.
RoA might be a better item, but I never really was a fan of it in general. It probably is better for HP than Rylais but I am making excuses in my head why Rylais is better that don't really make sense. Swain scales off mana, since the longer you can remain a bird the better.
RoA/Tear into situational items after that = core on swain tbh.

Like unless that is changed don't really see a reason to pick him since corki/ez do the same poke/burst style but better. Cooldown: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 Physical Damage: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120% bonus AD) No damage fall-off.
It's basically his aa range, if you can auto someone, you can Q someone. And do you really think you'd have these numbers (and cast speed) if you could use it "freely"? 240 + 1.2 bonus AD is big. Look at Caitlyn, she beats it (180 + 1.3 total AD) and has slightly longer range but she's also got sharp damage fall-off and a long-ass cast animation that makes it so you almost never use it in teamfight.

Well I'd rather have it be freely castable with lower damage. It's also really hard to hit unless your opponents are melee and run in a straight line at you.In duels vs other ranged it's just really weak.
I just fail to see what he excels at.You are good at burst and killing squishies yet your main damage ability is almost impossible to land on them.He is ok at killing tanks but nothing special.I'm just kinda dissapointed was very hyped for him but is pretty meh in practice.

Right now I'm opening DShield on literally any melee champ, in every situation in every lane.
