Sometimes he just strings together words that just sound good together, but don't have any actual meaning. It's whatever, he's fine as long as you pair him with someone that does the analysis, he is a good play by play guy and he does make things *sound* exciting, which is his job. Mostly I avoid critiquing play by play guys, because I've tried to do it - just alone in my room and I can tell I sound stupid, so I'm just glad I'm not the one doing it.

Which is why I always gave Wave a lot of credit when we were casting AHGL because I personally can't watch and talk fast enough, or make things particularly exciting without it sounding too fake. Play by play is really difficult to be good at. Analysis casters have the knowledge and can take the time to think through what they want to say as they're saying it. Play by play casters have to react very quickly to what's going on and make it sound good at the same time. Riv isn't my favorite, but he's improved from what he once was.

Don't underestimate the ability to play off of someone/be played off of. People can be good at separate things when casting but when you bring them together it's always magic like we had. ![]() I've definitely let my casting skillz go to pasture though and I don't see me seriously busting them out anytime soon to re-improve. We should stream something tonight though. Yolo Q, IH casting...anything. I miss you buddeh. We had funz. I actually have a little time without freaking myself out now over first week in clinic.

+ Show Spoiler + tbh the original was intended as a joke, because I envisioned of the cannons going off when Kha'zix would jump on someone and had a good chuckle. But still, Renekton? no.

But still, Renekton? no. There are no cannons in the William Tell Overture. Are you thinking of 1812 Overture?

Your joke still worked, it was just different than you planned. Just play it off like you intended the multiple interpretations because you are truly an ARTIST.

One of the guys we were in the AHGL contest with had a voice like that and he already had a whole bunch of Twitch followers when it started. I thought he was going to kick our asses.
