Also, is buying a zonyas on jax a bad idea? He seems to scale ok with ap, armor is armor, and the active is good in teamfights.
22.5 mr is 22.5% more EHP against magic damage (iirc each point of resist gives 1% more EHP against that type of damage). You tell me if that's a big deal.
I would rather not get Zhonyas on Jax. The stats are ok on him and the active isn't terrible, but honestly he doesn't need that much AP since his ratios aren't great and he already does a ton of damage with just the base stats. Zhonya's cost is mostly invested in the 100 AP it gives, which isn't that amazing on Jax. He already gets a lot of resists from his ulti so the Zhonya's armor is kinda bleh. Jax also wants people to be hitting him in the sense that he's a diver/front-line fighter so the Zhonya's seems kinda counter-intuitive. It also restarts his passive stacks (i think not 100% sure).
I'd rather go some combination or just one of Triforce/Gunblade/Bork then tank out. BTW, you can solo baron very easily with Gunblade so long as you don't run out of mana spamming W and E. Just sayin

I've never played Olaf rework, but I wanna trust that Smash won't ruin Olaf.
Am I the only one who thinks it is not a big deal that a bunch of b tier koreans are moving to na?I mean since they are the only kr team it's not like they can get the high quality practice and they don't have coaches or analysts.Like if this is a problem the na scene has a lot of bigger issues.
Since most na/eu sponsors prefer people who they can sell for their personality they wouldn't ship a random korean soloq team and korean sponsors shouldn't be interested in sending other teams here so the sc2 wcs shouldn't happen.
Part on stacking magic resistance. "Every point of magic resistance requires a unit to take 1% more of its maximum health in magic damage to be killed. This is called "effective health.""
Yeah but since you already have 30 base MR, it's not an actual 22.5% increase.
Man Vi's ult and the way it's handled is really starting to get on me. - when people use movement abilities right before you lift them (which is a suppression and not a knock-up), Vi won't follow them. A big part of her combo is how her ult put her behind the target, so you can Q immediatly to knock them back toward your team. When people use their spells (I don't know about dashes and stuff like Tristana's Rocket Jump, but stuff like Ahri's ult, Ezreal's E, Cait's E does it), Vi does the lifting animation without touching them, and she stays where they started, while they move normally. Basically it's a bit like Blitz's grab, despite it being a suppression. It doesn't interrupt their movements.
- However, you can interrupt her. She loses her immunity to cc right before she lifts, or part of it at least. A Thresh used his Q on me right as I was ulting somebody (eg. reaching and lifting them), and I was dragged back in the middle of the lifting animation, cc-ing me during the theorical cc immunity and putting me, again, away from the person I ulted.
I don't know about the first part (it wrecks her ability to pick targets however, as the initiator, because contrary to moving during her "dash", it won't bring her with you so she basically ults for nothing), but the 2nd part is clearly not intended behaviour.

Also 22 mr is not 22% ehp against magic attack lol.
The only problem I have with having more koreans in NA lcs, is the less mobility of NA solo queue players to move up into NA LCS team.
Exactly. The whole point of NA LCS is to provide opportunity for NORTH AMERICAN players to play at the professional level. There is no LCS in Korea because there is already an established scene and a pathway for Korean players to play at the professional level.
Yea I worded it badly in my post. I shouldn't have said it was 22.5% more EHP; rather it's 22.5% EHP, which is still pretty significant. Especially since the champion in question is Ryze, who regularly builds a decent chunk of health/shields (from RoA, Seraph's, Visage)

Say there is a champion with 1000HP and 100MR to begin with. His EHP is 2000. If you get another 100 MR, you get another 1000 EHP, or an 50% increase, not 100%.

Give NA a good start, lol. Might be the only game NA will win.

I actually liked the mentality most of the NA pros were showing. They know they're underdogs, but they're going to try their damnedest to prove the world wrong.

They are.
If they lose then they have to bear the embarrassment of losing to an NA team.

It's their job and their passion, that's only natural. Then you have hype music and cherry-picked lines that make you seem really cool.

The clearest way to word it correctly is "It increases your EHP by 22% of your HP".
