Two things:
1) Team peel
2) Kill her in a fight
Triforce/BorK means 6-7k gold sunk into offensive items, with only a slight amount of hp. Depending on the team comp, you can generally blow her up if she goes for two offensive items and isn't incredibly far ahead.

Getting two offensive items before any defensive item on Irelia seems a bit iffy. It would most likely rely on you getting really far ahead which isn't really reliable. I tried out just the triforce into defensive items and it seemed to work out pretty well. The MS on kill is really nice in teamfights and the damage is pretty high.

IN all honestly getting a cowl + wardens mail is so cheap for the defensive stats you gain. that those two probably allow someone like irelia to get anything they need as long as you pick up those parts as you need.

There was that guy who purposefully dodged placement games and won regular games till he was playing Plat players on a Bronze account or whatever. League system is pretty silly.

Ketara meant that it can be done on purpose. Which doesn't change anything to the fact that if you aren't doing it on purpose then you should climb up regardless.

If he said something like "P1 decayed down to G5 playing with Diamond MMR", I'd say okay whatever. He says "G5 playing with Diamond MMRs and can't move up" means that he's trying to ladder up and failing to do so and spewing some ridiculous BS excuse as to why he's bad.

I've played a couple games against Diamond 5's in gold.
The kind of Diamond 5's who have absolutely no business being in Diamond 5 and can't drop out of Diamond.
They're usually really ragey and not fun to play games with.

i've also seen very high MMR players playing against my friends who are in bronze rightly, because they duo with bottom of the barrel MMR and it screws the system

Yeah I've seen that too.
I often feel like reporting people for duoing like that because it creates games that are NOT fun and NOT indicative of your actual skill level.

It's more like the higher elo guy rarely makes up for his Bronze buddy.
If you're in Diamond you just shouldn't duo with somebody in Bronze. It's not cool to the other 3 people who are gonna be on your team.

This is when the Diamond guy makes a smurf to play with his Bronze friend, which ensures a 1-sided stomp and also the overinflation of the Bronzie's MMR.
