I'm not quite sure why alistar has such a low winrate on lolking, is it because people don't take the time to learn him? He's pretty strong especially if your team needs initiation and beef from the support position. Can't really pick him into a pokey lane, but he's so good otherwise. | ||

Because he's old as heck and costs 450 ip (and therefore suffers from power creep and lolmana), and that headbutt pulverize combo is a little finnicky-- if you mess it up, it really sucks. I've got at least 100 games with him, and I still mess it up sometimes because of ping on different internet and other reasons. He's not really an amazing initiator without flash for a surprise WQ, and he still needs HP to be effective. Like, why would you play Ali with a risky WQ combo when you could play like Leona (EQ so much safer, W makes her tanky R great initiation) or Thresh or Blitz for a much safer and easier hook? He's a melee support with no real way to get around the Sona/Lulu/Nami triangle except a mediocre heal. | ||

I liked to play Starcraft 1, back in the PGT days, used to be B- Rating(not much by foreign or korean standards but still lets say i was very bad at the time, and i would own the random pug). Im completly lost in this game, i dont really have much time to play as i used to when i was in school(work as an internal lawyer for a smallish company in Mexico). I try to play ranked using the best possible mindset to me, i tend to withstand losses very well and not to rage at all, i used to watch smashgizmo stream to find out about the current meta, as he tends to ramble(not sure if this word is correct not trying to be offensive or anything) about the whole scene and the viable strats today. I know there is a "how to get better thread" i think i need to get pointed out my mistakes to me, anyone willing or is there an initiative to people that are bad, but are willing to get better. Thx in advance. | ||

If champions had been ethnically diverse sooner it wouldn't have been so unusual and the community might have move passed it by now. But then maybe I'm giving the community too much credit... | ||

The funny thing is they would rather have a 6 year old girl fight a giant tentacle monster from the void. But a black guy? NOPE, we ain't got none of them here. lol It's so ridiculously funny to me.
