Had a lot of fun playing that with friends and it was a running quote between us. I have a ton of great memories from that game. Did you ever find the bonus rounds you can turn things invisble using the sorceror or w/e. Invisible bumper boats 2 gud.

Think I got A on Eliwood hard, B on Hector normal, or something. I always destroyed my "speed" rating by wanting all these support conversations.

Kainzero just proved i cannot hate a TL LoL person more then anything else on the planet.
Because there is always someone on TL LoL who is worse then them.
First FF, then golden sun AND NOW THIS?

That's great, but that doesn't stop me from massively disliking MGS4.
I liked 1, 2 was fine gameplay-wise, 3 was awesome, Peacewalker was probably one of the best PSP games....
... but 4.
Damn.

Why is Dart's unique promotion item worth 50,000 ._.
EDIT: Although the Mani Katti has the nice property of not being sellable, which also means using it doesn't impact your funds rating. Pretty much the only cool item you get early that you don't feel bad about using.

NV's an Obsidian game, which entails the unfortunate property that it's buggy as shit out of the box.

Dorans shield is so fricken good right now

People always talk about that, but the only problems with it that I had was when I installed literally 50 mods and it crashed. Removed the 5 buggy ones and then I've either had bugs that I went around instantly and thus do not remember or there weren't any

You gotta save them until you really need them!

New vegas, the open world game where you are forced into certain locations for the first ~6-8 hours because if you dont you get owned by big bad monsters.
+ Show Spoiler +Start town -> Primm -> Southern NCR base -> Maybe prison -> Nipton -> Novac -> That ghoul/supermutant station ->finally freedom!

The rocket place is optional m8. It's freedom after Novac. + Show Spoiler +Implying that on my 6 playthroughs I didn't make a different route work. I think I had the most fun when I pretended that I didn't know where I was going and that the map didn't exist.

literally 50?

Play on any reasonable difficulty without abusing hidden op shit or Mod difficulty at all and you either take the route or die.
If you dont do any of those things, you're playing fuckin' carebear mode anyway
On a related note, my heavily modded, extremely difficult FO3 playthrough is extremely open-world-ly at all times (unless i find a big deathclaw or a yao guai, then i run like little bitch in big russia.). I love FO:NV, but its small map and heavily "routed" world is extremely limiting in its (long) opening stages imo.

TBH as weird as it sounds the NV DLCs actually sell the experience harder than the main game--seeing as Obsidian got a lot more freedom to do what they want/what they do best.
|
You can go through the mountains right after Primm and get to Novac. I think you're assuming that you have to fight every monster you come across, I bet being a real life scavenger in a post apocalyptic world would involve a lot of running away, too. I always play games on the hardest difficulty. And when it comes to games like NV, abusing anything you come across is fair play IMO. The NV DLCs are really awesome. FO3 is definitely more open but that doesn't automatically mean that it's better. If you give me the whole world to explore right from the start, I will want to explore everything, miss nothing and probably easily get bored. I just like NV a lot more in terms of writing as well
