Jayce changes aren't about diversity, they're about a champion having literally everything in his kit. Note that the transform damage-on-next-hit is still there (moved to passive) but the huge armor shred is being removed (meaning you'll get the on next hit damage switching to ranged form too.) 30%+ armor shred is KINDOF a lot, especially when the champion also has a huge amount of physical burst, likes to build last whisper and brutalizer. Double especially when it's in his "pretend I'm a decked out ranged carry for a bit" mode. I mean he's not even getting shoved into the same cookie cutter mold that is 'standard' - he's going for a mold that isn't used by anyone else so that he can have his diverse transform-based kit (which isnt like the other two transforming champions, really) So what is jayce REALLY losing here? He's losing his armor shred, he's losing +40 movespeed for a tiny period when he preses R, and he's getting a pile of number tweaks. | ||

From the standpoint of balance, there simply hasn't been enough time since this current patch for Riot to already be mapping out Jayce nerfs because this patch already made several changes with significant effects on his power level. | ||

As a criticism of Riot's quickfire balance approach though, I agree with you. Riot is often too quick to make a change instead of letting one nerf play out (we haven't even SEEN the jayce changes affect the pro level and they're already applying another pile of changes?) before examining for further nerfs. | ||

I understand why they do it, it's good business! The pros and us TLers will grumble that the meta can't settle but most people just want to play such that Jayce isn't one shotting them from the fog of war. Plus it keeps their game shiny. Still though. Slower patch cycles. Riot plz | ||

Wolves were playing against Eternity and during a pause Pheilox (from TCM, former Fnatic support) gave information about Eternity's map position to Wolves for some reason. People saw it happening on the stream and it all ended up with TCM withdrawing from the tournament and kicking Pheilox from the team. Article Pheilox apology | ||

@Ketara, I really like the buff transfer idea and I'd love it if some higher level players put it to use! It seems that it's been effective at lower levels - anyone higher up wanna give it a try? | ||
