It'll probably be comparable to a concert there. I will be very very upset if Riot doesn't use the amazing HD screens in the Staples Center.

Anyway will be interrsting to see how riot plans to top last year with the epic orchestra For some reason I found that highly amusing.
So the semi-finals are on September 16th but the finals aren't until October 4th. That seem way too far apart.
Also, holy shit, I vastly underestimated the amount of viewers that All-star game got.
Edit 2: Also the article mentioned a $2m prize pool, does that mean they really aren't going to try and one-up The International? That's surprising.

Staples Center > Prize Pool Measuring.
Also I think you have to add in the $2+ million Riot paid for having an entire season of amazing competition.

So, i am getting incredibly frustrated with support currently. I just don't feel like i have enough impact on a soloqueue game. Sure, i can win bot most of the time. Sure, i can provide lots of vision. But that doesnt't help me winning the game in any way. If i win bot, that just means that the enemy will 4-5 man dive us 2-3 times in a row and get dragons while my team does nothing useful at all. And vision doesn't help us win the game unless we are already ahead. People still manage to get caught with vision on 75% of the map, and it is just so frustrated if your top and mid feed hard while you win bot slightly.
So, which role has the most impact? I assume jungler. What is a good list of high impact junglers i can look into learning now that i have finally fallen down to plat 5 due to random BS?
|
To my knowledge, every jungler who's ever been asked that question has answered lee sin.
|
Yep, pretty much. In terms of setting tempo early and helping lanes snowball while also being able to outplay/duel, Lee tops the list. Alternatives include Jarvan and Elise.
|
The reality is that if you outplay your opponent you will win >50% of the games you play, no matter the lane (see LemonNation)
That said mid, jungle and top are probably your best bets in that order.
High impact junglers = fotm junglers like evelyn, elise, j4, lee sin
|
Mid tops the list IF you play someone who can either roam well (Kass) or single handedly carry (Ryze). If you play a passive farmer mid, even if you win your lane, you can't convert it into winning other lanes until it may be too late to matter. Note that Ryze, with 21 utility and MS quints, can roam or follow your lane very well.

Just massive LOL at the teams being invited 3 NA teams 3 EU teams 3 KR teams 2 CN teams 2 SEA teams 1 Int Wildcard (Aus, Turk, Rus, SA)
Well that means that only 5 or 6 teams can win the whole tournament.
Can't believe 3 NA teams are going, guess RIOT want to make sure that TSM/CLG will be going...

Play Lux or Thresh

Wow, they still gave 3 spots to EU & NA at worlds. So given the spring results it's actually possible that both WE & iG might not make it while Curse & EG do, that would be hilariously terrible.

I think hilariously that if KR didn't win the allstar game they'd have 2 spots, while if NA or EU won, they would have 4! spots at the finals.
Thank god KR won that meaningless exhibition game

doesnt matter what jungle or role you pick as long as you play well if you blame your champ not having enough impact then its just another block to seeing your mistakes
if you dont liek support play top and come back in 2 days complaining about bot lanes feeding and failing every game
|
NA and EU still get 3 spots?
Dat LCS bias...

Do you even play ranked? Thresh is always banned. Of course i would play him if he were not. And Lux is not really a good support.
