It looks fucking ugly as it is but heres a rant. Summoner icons are completely fucking redundant. There is no real achievement for having them / gaining access to them apart from season trophies. There are roughly 30 total icons in the game and as such will be constantly recycled serving no purpose or statement of a players achievement or skill. They mean absolutely nothing apart from the fact that you 1) May have logged on during a seasonal event 2) Won 10 games of ARAM or 3) (the only one of actual worth) finished at a certain league last season. The only one of actual worth is 3) but your banner shows that in the first place so it makes those icons redundant too. If they're going to do this, they need to AT LEAST add more icons, not just team icons where u pay RP and get to support dignitas. Things like Achievement-gained icons. 100 wins, 250 wins, ranked wins, 5v5, 3v3, aram, dominion, Champion specific wins (not available during draft or ranked for obvious trollbag reasons) etc. RP-Bought icons - Just add shitloads of cool icons to the store for people to buy for 100-200RP or something. As it stands now, all we see are the same 20-30 icons over and fucking over that mean what? Absolutely fucking nothing. Its fucktarded and extremely ugly, annoying and ridiculous | ||

Also the vast majority of people never see icons outside of this new loading screen, so I think with the new team support icons it's a pretty solid addition. I don't like the new load screen graphically, but putting the icons in there isn't why(the boxes seem so much more sharp/angular). | ||

Nah its more of a niggly thing, the new loading screen is just awful, like the guy above says, the progress bar removal makes things 10x more difficult as well, although i like the ping removal. Team icons aren't enough to warrant something like this really, sure put LOADS of icons on sale for RP, thats fine, add IP or achievement based ones too, just add variety for gawd sake. Chances are hey'll only release the regions LCS team icons anyway, so there still wont be any variety. Add 50 gazillion RP/IP/Achi based icons and im happy. It just needs variety, i dont want to stare at the same pointless icons game after game, staring at something somebody worked / paid for (in IP OR RP) i can deal with, especially with variety But even if it is just a niggily thing, putting something there thats completely redundant and useless qualifies as bullshit imo  | ||

Every game in the history of the internet shows loading bars. It's sooo annoying without them now. Removing ping is fair enough cause as someone said, junglers won't know who to camp now based off bad ping. | ||
