Generally ranged champions should dump on melee, but her poke and 6 power was really strong considering how (relatively) short Q's range is. I'm thinking that E max, based on the discussion) might have been smarter so I could just clear easy and then go help bot and top. Even though we won, I didn't feel like I did much until my RoA had fully kicked in. I think I need to play her more to get a feel for her matchups. I don't think she's as strong against melee champions as like Lux or Annie, but her anti-diving power and gank support is top notch, so she can play relatively safe and scale fairly hard into the lategame. Anyone have decent insight into what her matchups are like, or should I just play her until I have a feel for myself? I wish we had a Liss thread, maybe I'll make one after like 50 games with her when I don't suck so hard. + Show Spoiler + Who am I kidding I'll always suck T-T @Suff: I'd play for you but I'd lose :3 @NeedsmoreCELLTECH: I'm super trustworthy + Show Spoiler + hue You were actually doing really well early in lane. I watched the replay of that game and have some thoughts for you: 1. On your first death, you had 4 potions but were sitting at half health. Diana was half health with 0 potions left, she hit 4 first, and she killed you. This was very preventable. If you have pots, try to stay at full HP for as long as possible. Instead of pushing her out of lane, you died because you didn't maximize your resources. Q against Diana was really good; she had a hard time last hitting and took a ton of harass despite the fact that you helped me leash and lost a couple of minions of exp and she didn't help Voli at all. I would keep maxing Q against melees, because I don't think they can deal with your harass. Also, you left like 8 or 9 minions at <5 hp on last hits in the first 5 waves -- if you paid a little more attention to this you would have been way up on her in farm, too. 2. I agree that RoA seemed underwhelming. Athenes for laning or just a Zhonya's rush for teamfighting seems way better. 3. After you died and were behind, Diana did a good thing by zoning you from the melee creeps, and I couldn't help you because I was getting counterjungled by Voli (you did the right thing helping me because we got a 3 for 1 out of this, even though you died again after Diana flashed for the kill). If this happens to you again, I would start maxing E. Lissandra's strength in lane is that, when even or ahead, she can use the creep wave itself to her advantage with Q. However, when you can't even get in range to do that, the mobility and long-range clearing power of E becomes way better. 4. From here, you did a nice job staying safe and getting into late game. It takes discipline not to die to Diana over and over again after you fall behind against her in lane, and you actually managed to be much more useful in fights. Your intuition on teamfighting with Lissandra was good. In the first teamfight where Jax got the almost penta, you did a ton of damage to Ashe, Leona, and Voli while Jax and I killed Diana, who was their only real threat at the time. You forced Ashe to use her ultimate defensively, and then there was basically nothing from stopping the Jax from cleaning up everyone. I know you said you went in too early, but you really didn't. You did exactly what you needed to in that fight.

You did exactly what you needed to in that fight. Thanks a lot, this is exactly the type of stuff that helps me out. I suck at actives and consumables, I definitely have died in dozens of games because of not using pots to stay healthy. I think it has to do with playing AD characters a lot and being used to healing with lifesteal, whilst most APs don't have that option unless they build a Revolver item or have built in healing like Vlad. After my first back or two on an AD like Riven or Cait, I have a Vamp or BT and don't think about my health :\ This is what I was talking about the other day, too. Even though I was fairly behind in lane due to playing dumb early, Liss is a character that has the capacity to help make really strong plays with her kit and scaling alone. Not to say she's OP or that I need to play OP champs to win, but I don't really have the playstyle that always allows me to snowball, hence why I don't play assassins. Thanks for the insight!

Pray for me and make sure to vote well in these LCS recommendation polls. <3 Alaric, I am disappoint. Bjergsen actually joined 4-5 weeks after the start of Spring Split due to age restrictions. Deficio is last starter standing.
