Wondering if this is going to trickle down to casters this weekend. "Doublelift is known for picking Vayne as his late game ADCarr- Marksmen.

Is the position still considered ADC then? Because they wanted to get away from using carry in the role, but said role does not equal position. If they are announcing this then I image they want casters to use the same lingo.

Yea unfortunately I only have the 10 man one . Such an amazing instance. It even had that cosmic fight which was pretty awesome visually.

I did ulduar in cata for achieves and someones mount ( i think, idk ) and i was literally dumbfounded that i was spending 2+ hours inside a raid that i got LOST in so many fucking times, i dont mean took a wrong turn, i mean where the fuck am i did i just walk 10 minutes the wrong way lost.

I was stunned at its size and beauty, i didnt experience many of the fights how they were meant to be so i cant comment, but alot of them looked just as amazing.

Ulduar is the one raid i truely regret NOT doing, the only other two i rate close are Ahn' Quraj and Naxx, i was fortunate enough to do MC and BWL.

I miss vanilla, but damn was it a pain in the arse to do things, the nostalgia is high.

Ulduar truly does seem epic

1) Ragnaros and MC, jus cos.
2) Magmaw, Blackrock depths, the cata raid. Signified my return to WoW after vanilla-BWL (although short, short lived) extremely enjoyable, gave me the old thrills back, i also got teh loots from her + the boss on the other side. (Robot? lul im so bad at remembering)
3) Onyxia
4) Al'Akir. Such a cunt, such fun, Went beastmode as some no-name healer in my 25 man and just started screaming orders in 3rd phase after prolly 20+ raids for the kill. Felt awesome with everyone on TS shouting "oh god yay yay, who was shouting orders?! Good fucking job man!!" Nerdchills so to speak, even my wife and mum behind me on the sofa was going apeshit lolol, guess they saw us wiping for 3 weeks T.T.
5)Ive gotta go with Chromaggus jus cos when i saw him i remember having a feeling of awesome wash over my young-self

On a LoL related note.

Any ashe is a bad ashe in my games, i fucking hate ashe pickers as they usually suck, take barrier, instalock and feed. (I mean ashe doesnt have a whole lotta kill-time why the fuck wouldn't you take ignite to finish mofo's when its not someone like draven.)

Archimonde made me want to punch kittens. The problem with Archimonde was that if you had one person that messed up on the knock up and died. It just would snowball into a wipe, if your team was competent then he was easy.

UIduar was by far the best designed raid in WoW. I've had the pleasure of raiding it just was great that you was able to challenge yourselves with the hard modes of each boss for the different achievements. Yogg 0 was awesome along with Alagron (spelling may be wrong) in that instance.

TL'ers what were your favorite raid instances and bosses (Top 5)

1. Muru (pre-nerf) (sunwell)
2. Illidari Council (BT)
3. Kael (tempest keep)
4. Vael (blackwing lair)
5. Nefarian (blacking lair)

Lastly, I miss pre-nerfed snowballs
Baneslayer Angel could be hungover, slightly blind, and texting while flying and still win the game

They're still saying "top" and "bot" rather than "duo lane" or "side lane", so...

ICC had a lot of good fights, but honestly the design was really disappointing. More frozen metal that we've seen the entire expansion, more undead, and then corridors leading to fight rooms.

I quit after Firelands in Cata, and that was probably my favorite in that expansion. The open area from the entrance really gave you that "on another plane" feel, even if it was just rocks and lava. Not to mention some pretty fun fights.

Yeah i quit in vanilla when my guild 1st cleared BWL, just couldn't be bothered anymore, then i came back in Cata and quit at 13/13 pre-FL patch, I played a couple of weeks perhaps after the patch hit but never raided, couldn't hold the epicness that Vanilla did for me.

Now im playing RIFT f2p and enjoying the ride, although my guild seems to be getting ready for 10 man, but nope.

Again, i hate ashe players.

Firelands wasn't that bad. It was probably the best raid in Cata. I stopped play right after DS came out and I hated DS it just felt underwhelming.

Cata was a whole wasn't really that good in my opinion. Overall I think that BC was the best expansion.

I always liked the Naxx40, BWL, and Kara. I really missed out on the BC raids because I quit just after Naxx and AQ 40 then came back when Wrath came out. I feel kinda sad that I missed lvling and raiding in BC when people actually still played it a lot

My biggest peeve with the direction WoW went is that they practically removed the uniqueness of each class. They took it from 8 classes to 4 roles, where one class could potentially be three roles. Every class used to have something useful - either in cc or buffs.

Likewise in LoL, I'd prefer champs to be created around a cool kit rather than around fitting a set meta role.

Vashj is always forgotten, and was like the best fight ever. There was so much shit goin' down the whole time (once the lol mindcontrol got axed at least). Also, anyone who fondly remembers Aq40 never had to do back-end wipe recovery/run backs. I've had more fun filing tax returns.

It seems pretty reasonable for Riot to want to move the community's language away from 'carry' as that has lots of implications for gameplay that don't have to apply. Marksman is an atrocious choice however.

How are people building Karma now? I don't demand lanes so rarely get to play her solo and feel like my bullying could be stronger with some TLoL pro-tips.

As far as Karma goes, I'll iterate what most have said: the full CDR build is super dope. Personally, I like going Athene's -> Nashors, but that's because it seems cool and works decently. It's also more of a top build than a mid one I think. However, you could just as easily go Athene's -> Morello's then on to something like DCap or Void Staff depending. I like DCap because the bigger the Mantra-E the more useful you are late game.

Cata was a massive disappointment. They said there would be 4 raid tiers, there were 3. They designed about half as many bosses as all the other expansions. Include how shitty Diablo 3 and SC2 are, I never plan on buying another Blizzard game because it's obvious they are trying to cash in on their name and franchises.
