Generally speaking, how can a jungler switch up his item build to suit his team's needs? Most of the high rated guides out there are virtually the same item builds for every jungler.
Machete 5 pot into Madreds or Stone with boots
Build into fully upgraded machete item
Then some combo of aegis and locket
Round out with some tanky support items (randuins, etc)
If your team is failing in some aspect or you're doing really well so you need to capatilize on a lead, how should you change your item setup, if at all? Do I just rush the build faster, or am I better off going high damage items or something like that when the team has a lead? If your team is failing hard, what can you change up in your build to help out?

that xiaoxiao sona ult....

clumped in the jungle against sona, kennen, and eve. that's the stuff of nightmares.
lolwut, iG left bot inhib alive when it's literally 2 autos from dead.
|
I fear WE will implode if results keep going south, there were already rumors of possible roster changes last week.
Edit: ESL Asia finally woke up, no more dealing with crappy Chinese video players to watch this

There were no "high value" APs outside his comfort zone, and his 3 best champs were the three most important mid champs (Anivia, Orianna, Karthus). More than anything, this is luck.
He's especially lucky seeing as Diana became huge across the world about a week later. I'd argue that its quite possible that Toyz might have been good at those champs because they were the ones he needed to be good at. If that were the case he'd be good at the current repetoire of champs as well. Well toyz points to the stress and having to learn/take up the captain role as part of the reason behind his decline. Altho all of tpa with the exception of their bot lane really failed to adapt to the meta We need to be honest though that the whole TPA team was a Right team/Right Time scenario. They were not better than M5 or Frost. DiamondProx most of M5 has given extensive, illuminating, interviews about how TPA basically came in as unknowns, exploited a hole in the meta that was open for a short span, and at a 1 weekend event had enough of a surprise factor to not be countered. I don't really think so. TPA beat M5 pretty comprehensively just in lane. They usually went into midgame with a decent lead, where they could have played just old fashioned shove and fight, but instead they let Stanley who had a pretty sizeable lead on Nidalee several games splitpush.
I think that is what happened, but what they did to create those opportunities was what was important.
I just personally, when I watched the games, felt that they were "getting away" with stuff. Maybe they were innovators that pushed the meta, then fell behind, that has happened to many teams before. But I felt like they were a great team of pseudo-exploiters and my feelings have no real basis, just an analysis from afar.

Generally, helping a failing team has more to do with how you play than what you build.
Switching up an item build situationally is very hard. There's no general rule for how it works, you need to think about everything that's going on in a game, from champion picks to lane situations to your faith in particular players, and make tough decisions based on past experience and your own judgement.
Keep in mind that junglers, particularly those that are popular at the moment, tend to focus on cheap, efficient items due to their low farm priority. As a result they tend to lack much room for adjustment unless they're ahead, or when facing simple problems like heavy AD or AP compositions. If your team is falling behind there's rarely much you can do beyond trying to finish your pre-planned build.
When you're ahead the choice between adding an extra item or just building faster is tough, and choosing which extra item is tougher. Different items will give you carrying power depending on the situation. In the end, you'll learn fastest by simply trying different things or showing veteran players replays where you had a lead.

From watching these replay highlights, it's always Misaya who initiates and gets blown up in the counter initiation. Caomei seems to stay back too much.
edit: MVP Ozone Yorick strat!

Misaya should find back his own style of play. He'll go the Toyz route at this stage. He just tries to copy and play whatever champ that beat him (if you watched AIMAG you'll understand).
Wei Xiao needs to find his own groove back as well and fix his concentration. He relaxed in the middle of enemy territory and let Eve get 2/3 free auto and Q and died. If he reacted the first instance he encountered eve he would have lived.
Caomei please learn to win lane without Troll's help.
Troll needs to be mechanically stronger. Don't think it was a coincidence he lost the 1v1 in the World tournament.
Fzzf, did you use exhaust on yourself? Cause you sure didn't exhaust the enemy 90% of the time when I look at you in teamfights.

wow, retard magnet activated. that was so risky by iG
|
Fzzf's Blitz is really beast though. Everytime I see him on Blitz, it's like Madlife hooks all day.
|
wassup with that call on baron lol, that throw is just too hard
|
Sad, the game was actually interesting until that baron brain fart. I don't see why you'd gamble like that at 17mins when you have such a godlike lategame comp.
|
What was the lineups for game 1? Missed it =(
V wow thanks didn't even know they had that feature.

Fzzf definitely carried that game. Misaya with an on game. Wx continues to make questionable decisions.

blitz is one of fzzf's signature heroes, and it was pretty much how WE planned on beating CLG EU back in S2 world champs
then stupid dcs caused WE to show their hand and CLG EU just banned blitz out every game zz

we can attribute it to a stupid baron (which it was), but i can understand why ig chose to do that
1. blitz definitely made giant plays. before the baron throw he was in 7 of WE's 9 kills. he put immense pressure on the entire ig team 2. ryze and evelynn were both basically taken out of the game by the time baron showed up, and they're both quite farm dependent
ig must've felt they had a weaker line up until hyper-late game, and the way the game was going, WE's mid game timing (which wouldve lasted a good 15+ minutes with strong diana/blitz initation vs an underfarmed ryze and a yorick who's kinda meh midgame) wouldve destroyed ig, so they probably gambled on a baron to basically give them the time to farm to late game where vayne/ryze/yorick could destroy
and honestly it was a very sneaky baron, it's really WE's godlike game sense that stopped that. WE reacted extremely fast to the brief period ig went mia
the call looks retarded cause it failed but if it worked it wouldve been brilliant, it's really a toss-up. if WE was 5 seconds slower on the uptake it wouldve worked...
