When it's like 35+ mins in and both teams are dancing around mid/baron you don't really have much time to farm right? I've actually noticed that in a lot of my games, during laning i'll have the best cs out of anyone in the game, then after laning I just end up standing around not doing much farming. I'm pretty sure that's really time inefficient since you're not getting any gold lol. I'm always afraid of a fight breaking out and if i'm off farming somewhere my team could lose really easily. Any tips? | ||

Recently promoted in the same division# as him, I looked at my own average cs to compare it to his and... welp, I'm definitely trash.  Need to replace Jax with Zed/Kha/Jayce and spam shit for free farm. | ||

Any tips? A lot of getting high farm is knowing where to look for it, and making sure your team doesn't initiate/get caught with you off killing creeps. In most games, you'll be looking at 70-90CS/min. There are bronze and silver level players who can CS as well as golds for the first 10 minutes of the game under minimal pressure. Once people start pushing and teamfighting though, they lose all sense of how to get more gold. | ||

Also, don't worry about your team. Just keep split pushing all day. If you notice jungler is in another lane. Just shove out your lane as hard as possible. One thing I love doing as top laner is if, I notice my midlane heads to bot to gank I instantly shove out, and make a bee line to mid lane and take that farm as well. Pretty much, if your team isn't pressing a big objective you should be in an open lane trying to farm. | ||

Any tips? When a big wave is pushing into one of your sidelane turrets, you want to be there to intercept it and shove it out as fast as possible before going back to middle. If you do this before the turret starts picking off minions, it can often be +20 CS or more, in like 10 seconds. From there, you can decide whether you want to splitpush or regroup with your team, depending on what's going on. | ||

If it was a singular game; I'd agree, but as a trend over large numbers of games it holds true. CS per min is a pretty good measurement big a determination as to why he's not improving; especially at his ELO/division | ||
