Even in the announcement, they are not saying anything like a release date though. While you can watch the all-stars treat their favorite champions to a magma tan today, remember this is a sneak peek and the public release is still on the horizon.
Now that the announcement happened, it's definitely happening. It's not as if they would spend that much time on it just to drop it after AllStars. Doesn't make sense. Would be hilarious if there were actually 1v1 solo queue though. I don't even know how that would happen, but the thought of it is just funny.

Well I dunno I tried again and it still didn't work. Just told me that it couldn't contact PvP.net and threw me out as soon as I clicked 0K (and the link to support site is a 404).
Edit: basically, this. And the support link is a 404.

This forum is getting more and more complicated. I no longer know where i have to look to see if something interesting is going on, or get notified once that happens. Was a lot simpler when everything was just in the GD thread. Now there are so many threads about so many things, and all of them are offline when i look at them.

Yeah, I'd like it if we had an event viewer or at least could list them on the TL sidebar, but Leaguepedia usually has a good list anyway.

Here's how it's going down.
Riot has never wanted to be in the MOBA/DotA scene. They've had their sights set on the fighting game industry but couldn't get an in. Well here it is.
Magma chamber is going to get popular. Before you know it, a small community who only plays 1v1 gets enough notice for a 1v1 solo queue to be implemented. Riot starts to foster this community incepting and manipulating them until they turn 1v1 solo queue into a Riot spawned-off fighting game. LoL becomes an afterthought and after a long healthy esports career, LoL dies and is forgotten by many...

i use irony because he was tribunaled and banned twice (wrongfully)
which means that riot had reviewed his reports and thought of him as a "toxic" player, or a player that is thought of as being bad for the community and the game, even though they had to retract it.
and now he is on the front page as the complete opposite of toxic, instead as a player being used to sell the game.
so there was a perception that he was bad for the game, but now he is being used to sell the game. irony is a term that defines this incongruity.

Most of the main conversations still happen in GD, the only major difference is the LR threads are housed in their own subforum and we are trying to use champion specific threads for discussion revolving around them (which was something Neo always wanted). What specific threads are you having trouble utilizing?

Damn that magma chamber looks awesome, really like the art design. I sort of have a feeling that some form of objectives system is going to come out on the sides of the map by the end of it. It could make it really cool for 2v2s. Really hope they change the scoring though.

We all know if LoL has an FG spinoff, Lee Sin would be top tier. Soraka meter gain assist to quickly gain 5 levels for Dark Vayne also another strat (Sorry couldn't think of anything better than that  )
