And every single time I had an argument with someone they'd bring up gold and I'd bring up that you can't price some things in gold

We had this argument about IBG on Ezreal before Blue Ez was a thing and everyone was telling me it was horrible gold efficiency

WELL SHIT I GUESS I WAS WRONG

Muramana became physical.
SotEL got buffed to hell and back and is particularly cost-effective (well AD/gold wise, since Incinerate has been nerfed since the time when people were all over Gauntlet).

Those 2 help a ton with the lack of damage from the build, the iteration before that was Gauntlet+Shiv+BT and relied on using Q to proc Shiv+Gauntlet for AoE poke. Said poke isn't too strong because you're relying on only BT for AD, and the lack of IE makes your autoattack dps significantly weaker.
The new take on the build has SotEL and Muramana to give you a big bunch of AD (once Muramana is fully stacked, it's around 100+ AD so as much as BT) and the 2 on-hit/ability hit for 900 gold more than BT, making you trade the sustain for a much stronger poke and more mana to sustain it. You also get 10% more CDR from the Lizard Spirit.

For laning those were efficient stats, yes, and you wanted to rush your GP10 anyway so it wasn't a problem. Plus, the laning wasn't as aggressive as now, so comparatively hp5 had higher value and HP lower.


Just a note, on blue ez Muramana ends up at like 70ish ad, not 100+. The proc more then makes up for it though.

I meant the Elder Lizard+Manamune combo gives ~100 AD, so you trade sustain+900 gold for the procs and the lack of stacks mechanic compared to BT.

His movement speed is still fixed at 350 at all levels so he's still not burning anybody in the lategame, which I reckon was what these buffs were meant to address. You'll still want to end the game before enemy adc can 3-shot him anyway.

Back when people got IBG when it was op'd as fuck. on Ez. It was strictly bought as a AOE/CC item, and you sacrificed A LOT of damage scaling by getting it. That's why Yango was like IBG is shit item back in this time.

Now; with IBG you can still have a lot of damage scaling with its supporting items like muramana, and spirit of elder lizard (which also allows you to cap off CDR to around 35%, and then + 4% from masteries, gives you 39%)

i believe liquid coaches curse as well
what atlanta, our coach, does, is watch every game the team plays, points out mistakes, tells people how to not make those mistakes again. he comes up with comps and plays and (once we're moved in to our team house) will have individual drill regimens based on what players need to improve or start doing

Annie so badly needs this. Not because she's UP but because having bear out to do blue and dragon for you makes her so much cooler! Now if only pets could tank dragon again.

His Q is actually really strong compared to like, leap strike. He might need a #s tweak, and by that I mean they should give him a mana bar and mana costs.
