It's efficient compared to stacking Cloth Armors and Longswords but pretty much awful compared to Cutlass. Item efficiency should be compared to the relative levels you could get from spending your gold elsewhere; it doesn't really matter than X item is gold-efficient because practically every item in the game is gold-efficient. The stats should be compared real items as a baseline. For example, Rageblade is efficient compared to stacking Blasting Wands, but for a AD/AP hybrid items, the baseline should be Hexetech Revolver.
i hear ohmwrecker is gold efficient and randuins is not
randuins is expensive as all fuck for what it gives you but its utility isn't really something you can price in gold
gold efficiency is a pretty dumb metric imo
This reminds me of a conversation I had a loooong time ago with bly08 bly08: You don't compare items just based on their cost efficiency Scip: of course you do, what else would you compare them by? bly08: like, by what they do

Oh god, please don't get him back. This was definitely one of the times I hated the TL veteran rules. I see people like TheYango and I'm like "Yeah, there should be more people like that guy!" Then there's Bly and it's like "wow, that dude's an asshole. How is he not banned?" For sure, he was right about stuff plenty of times. I could say that stuff that's right, but it could also be inappropriate. Shouldn't get a free pass either. For example, I could say + Show Spoiler +
Nazi experiments on jews and other races provided pretty decent advances in medicine, and weren't all bad.
(spoilered for possible offences, don't look if sensitive to race stuff) Yes that statement is true, but it's still not something that you should say.
sounds like you're mad cause bly called it like it is
Playing an initiating jungler seems to be the best way to get out of elo hell (besides playing high risk/ high reward champs). SUCCESSFULLY (i cannot emphasise it enough) gank lanes, with more focus on top and mid, to make sure your lanes are winning. Then when teamfight comes, choose the right time to start a fight. Since you are the initiator, you decide the right time to fight and not some moron who would have otherwise ruined it for the whole team. Successful ganks, good initiation, you get those 2 consistently game after game and you will be out of elo hell in no time.

To be fair, cost-efficiency isn't everything. No one concludes that Tear is the best item in the game and everyone should buy it despite the fact that you won't find a more cost-efficient item anywhere (700g cost, 2420g value). I'm not trying to defend bly here, but point out that while TheYango has called some very important itemization trends through his cost-efficiency analysis, even he does more than simply figure out a few numbers and call it a day.

Or you just pick Trundle, build BotRK, and get your tankiness from the opposing initiation jungler. It's really fun to watch Zac dive in only to instantly melt because you have half his tank stats and three times his damage.

This type of jungler is generally also very good at lane-ganking botlane if you have ult up (champs like Sejuani, Amumu, Malphite come to mind). You may have to blow flash to get in range, but a good gank can snowball the lane and even the game completely.
Also remember to farm consistently, only ganking will make you shitweak unless every gank succeeds.

IIRC both of us advocated Sunfire before nerf and IBG on Ez before blue build
IBG on Ez; pre-blue build was for a slightly different reason than because of the current blue build.
What exactly is the difference? We advocated IBG because it was an AoE sheen proc slow on a 6 second cd and I don't see how that's any different...
People kept telling us that it wasn't gold efficient and we kept arguing that you can't gold value a 1k range spammable AoE slow.
Is it wrong to only play 2 roles in ranked and dodge if you dont get your chosen roles? Ive been doing this for a while as my laptop only runs like 20 FPS and i cant CS, so i jungle / supp or dodge.
PC fixed next week anyways so gg no re bring on the trumpets

I can't imagine you needing to dodge that much. Supp seems to almost always be open unless it's a premade and jungle is open a lot too. Think it's alright if you only do that compared to only doing top/mid which is almost always going to be contested.
Ive only had to dodge once so far in like 80 games lol. I just wondered what the viewpoint was, i didnt think i was being a douche as i was the one who dodged.
Sounds good honestly. You basically in a situation to reduce champs select rage as you playing roles that typically people don't jump to do. That leaves more roles open that people do want so less fighting!
Well if you don't enjoy playing roles why waste the time to play them.Unless your 1 goal 1 dream is to get to higher leagues it seems like a good idea.
Well fuck me if this isn't the coolest thing ever. I already kinda liked CW and as an old swedish cs player just about no name in western esports has a stronger legacy than NiP. Well now I know who I'll be cheering for in lcs. Fuck gambit and eg and all those other nooks. noobs!
