Still don't think IBG is worth it, Bork IE or Bork Triforce are better choices imo.

I don't think gold value is the issue, it's significant loss of DPS. It's a trade off between direct damage and kiting and poking power depends on teamcomp but especially back with cheaper and better randuins sunfire and warmogs tanks were retarded hard to kill as it was
you can put a gold value on the AoE slow its just hard to value. its somewhere between the cost of IBG and 0. Remove irrelevant stat values from the item (ap, possibly mana) and you're left the the aoe slow sheen proc and the armour, you can value sheen by its full price if you want to make things simpler and the difference is the approximate gold value of IBG.
When people say "you can't put a gold value no X" what they really mean is "you can't get this stat easily from base components"
for example the randuins passive can be valued as a function of your EHP against ranged physical dealers since it reduces their DPS by about 15% and then you approximate the usefulness of both slows on top of that, and you find its really cost effective lategame which you'd expect.

And every single time I had an argument with someone they'd bring up gold and I'd bring up that you can't price some things in gold We had this argument about IBG on Ezreal before Blue Ez was a thing and everyone was telling me it was horrible gold efficiency WELL SHIT I GUESS I WAS WRONG Muramana became physical. SotEL got buffed to hell and back and is particularly cost-effective (well AD/gold wise, since Incinerate has been nerfed since the time when people were all over Gauntlet).
Those 2 help a ton with the lack of damage from the build, the iteration before that was Gauntlet+Shiv+BT and relied on using Q to proc Shiv+Gauntlet for AoE poke. Said poke isn't too strong because you're relying on only BT for AD, and the lack of IE makes your autoattack dps significantly weaker. The new take on the build has SotEL and Muramana to give you a big bunch of AD (once Muramana is fully stacked, it's around 100+ AD so as much as BT) and the 2 on-hit/ability hit for 900 gold more than BT, making you trade the sustain for a much stronger poke and more mana to sustain it. You also get 10% more CDR from the Lizard Spirit.

So I've always been kind of curious - what exactly does a coach like CRS Liquid do? In sports (basketball, football, futbal, whatever), the coach determines which players to use during a play/period, they develop formations and plays, and they act as kind of the final shotcaller. In League, I guess coaches could be the ones to bench players and scout, but in game when it comes to shotcalling and movement, that's really on the "team captain" to do.
I suppose they probably have a lot of input on things like teamcomps and judging the strength of their players on certain champions for those comps, but even then I think that the players would have a better feel for it.

Wait what happened to Bly, you guys are talking about him like he died or something

Maybe I'm completely wrong on this, but I think one of the important roles of coaches in other games, like SC2 is to set up and enforce the practice regimens. This always was my impression as to why Koreans dominate in SC2, because they have someone with authority constantly pushing them to work harder and get better, something often lacking in the foreigner scene.

TSM has Regi's brother, but he's definitely not as pushy as Korean coaches are. If instead their coach was employed by Snapdragon then he would be more of a manager to them.

Just a note, on blue ez Muramana ends up at like 70ish ad, not 100+. The proc more then makes up for it though.

As for blue build Ez, it seems to me really useful if the enemy has no good engage or they are a splitpush based teamcomp (IBG Ezreal is one of the best anti-splitpushers in the game. He is a decent splitpusher too but has no AoE apart from IBG).

Question regarding custom item sets: Is there a way / place I can go to, and download a bunch of them and just chuck them in a folder? I'm too lazy to make them myself, and it would be cool if I could just download a bunch of recommended items from a guide site e.g. Lolpro. IIRC they are client side rather than server... but yeah.

The new champ looks hella weak. Unless they do some major tweaks on him before live he will never get picked: competitively or in solo queue. He is build around his W yet it is arguably weaker than many similar mechanics such as irelia, jax, vi and vaynes autoattack enhancements. He doesn't have any reliable CC or innate tankiness to him and having a steroid as ult is never good on a melee champion. Just tweaking the numbers wouldn't make him anymore interesting either. Honestly, terrible design by riot.
