If you cast Annie's Q on Elise, Rappel will disjoint the projectile. Karthus' ult is more or less the same thing, with a projectile created when he starts channeling, and which travels with infinite speed when he finishes, so when you're using Rappel the projectile can't hit you (it's not coded like that obviously but I'm trying to draw a parallel). | ||

All tethers work the same way with untargetability moves at least. Soul Shackle will still stun Vlad in pool, Ethereal Chains will stick on Fizz on pole, etc. | ||

I feel like Madred's should allow for a slightly faster clear but the spirit stats just seem so good. Did anyone do some testing the how much of a clear time difference there is? | ||

Personally id just man up and get a sotel on jarvan :D more than the clear time, the early cloth armor is actually worth it on a lot of dueling junglers, because it means you can duel vs. the enemy jungler or solo laners because you bought combat stats with your first buy rather than a spirit stone. If you have no intention of skirmishing or extended fights, then obviously spirit stone is better then though. | ||

There are three classes of untargetability: 1) Untargetable & Invulnerable. You don't take any damage, tethers are broken, etc. Examples: Zhonya's, GA, Zilean ult, Lissandra self-ult. (Exception: Shaco ult is like this but fiddles re-tethers onto shaco afterwards) 2) Untargetable. You can't be targeted by spells, AoE doesn't affect you, in-air projectiles get disjointed, but any DoTs and tethers will stay on you. Examples: Troll pole, troll pool, rappel. Note that things like time bombs, karthus ults, and shark bait do not count as tethers. 3) Untargetable dash. Same as #2 but in-air projectiles do not get disjointed. Examples: Alpha strike, twisted advance, death mark, blade waltz. (However, karthus ult is also not a projectile, so you can still dodge it) | ||
