That support (i can't remember who), also played her alot like janna, using only Q defensively if the enemy tried to engage, then giving either Nami or the AD the E buff depending on positioning to even out the trade.

Same for Nami, people don't realize how good Q and E are, I see so many solo queue Namis focusing on W. There we go, that's the example I was looking for. :D On May 16 2013 23:21 Sponkz wrote: The first time i saw koreans using nami that support went some weird shit like QWEEW, R > E > W > Q. I don't think Q should be maxed, neither W. The bounce seems strong on paper, but in reality it's meh. That support (i can't remember who), also played her alot like janna, using only Q defensively if the enemy tried to engage, then giving either Nami or the AD the E buff depending on positioning to even out the trade. Leveling E increases its mana costs, so while there is a big increase in damage, I find it rather hard to really take advantage of w/o a chalice or mana regen runes. I don't like chalice on Nami very much, as its upgrades are overkill on mana. Generally its a good idea to prioritize spells that do not increase in mana cost and decrease CD (and increase effect duration and damage). I play Nami very unconventionally though. I tend to build a sightstone, then just rush a bilgewater and then a Bork. The active slows make it even easier to hit Q, and the item along with her kit makes her a very strong anti-bruiser/tank/diver.

Kinda dumb, I have had 3-4 instances in my career of going bot lane, trying to laser somebody on Lux, clicking the minimap instead and firing the thing towards dragon.

Barring a lack of rune pages/extra runes (which is totally understandable), why wouldn't you have a mana regen page for supports? The page I use for my Janna, Sona, Nami, etc. is MPen/Ar/Mp5/Gp10 (and even that isn't enough mana regen when you REALLY wanna spam). Since I'm going to blow up anyways when looked at on said supports, I don't see much of a reason not to get that extra regen.

Long story short, this person at first tries to extort me for $150 to get my own account back because that's apparently how much my account costs in terms of skins but finally decides to return my account to me because he was in a good mood and he was utterly surprised at why I wasn't raging at him (spent the hour talking to him about why he did this, was this a targeted decision, etc.) Only loss was the 5200 RP of him sending my account to EUW and me having to ship it back to NA. npnp What I get away from this ordeal is that being patient with people pays off and Riot seriously needs to update their password recovery system, it's pretty atrocious for the popularity and size of something like League. Moving on to a more relevant topic. I, NeoIllusions, am a scumbag Rumble player. He was definitely one of my go to champions for Top Lane. That said, I'll need to playtest Rumble myself today but I have a strong feeling that he's rather gutted. I think the Flamespitter change I could have lived with but holy shit that Harpoon nerf hurts. Not simply on a harassment level but the fact that Rumble usually has to use Harpoons to last hit against a severe lane bully. Assuming I will eventually retire Rumble because of this patch (because I subscribe to Slayer91's sentiments of practicing a small pool of champions to actually get better with them), I'm considering picking up Zac instead because he fits a similar niche. He functions as a AP/Tanky champion with a solid form of initiation. Edit: All this Nami talk is a little amusing. We were talking about Nami yesterday in staff chat and I drew parallels between her and early release Lulu. Obviously after many, many months of Lulu, there's no arguing that Glitterlance max is the way to go. But do you remember that initially people tried to max E first and thought, "pff, Lulu's just a shitty version of Janna". So yeah, don't tunnel vision when it comes to Supports. They don't all fit the same roles and don't try to cookie-cutter them into a playstyle that doesn't suit them. That said, I still strongly stand by Q max Nami is the proper way to build her. Vastly superior to W max or E max.

However, I get stuck playing AD or support a lot in team 5s. I have my support page but I don't have lifesteal quints yet for AD. Diana or Lifesteal quints? D: I grind IP so slowly lol. Assuming you're like a lot of other people I know and entirely unlike me (miserly), you want to spend IP pretty much as soon as you get it. Diana is a better buy than Lifesteal Quints. New champion is a new champion. With Lifesteal Quints, you have to play a very clean and efficient ADC to really appreciate those Quints. Otherwise, your standard AD Quints work absolutely fine. Go with the new champion over new runes 90% of the time. Runes are very, very specific (sup Mixed Pen Marks that I bought last month).

She's too good. Most my ranked games have been me autolocking in Diana mid and just causing hell on opposing mid laners/teams that just clump and ask to be 5-manned Moonfalled.

The thing about nami is that she doesn't have any real standoff weapons if you don't w max. a lulu can just glitter lance you and walk away. But oh god she supports ganks well and can turn around trades like janna only dreams she could.

The way she carries, makes you feel like a God.

Compromised email? Shared pw with some other compromised service? Told a "friend" once? Just too easy to guess pw? EDIT: Social-engineered Riot support?
