Nami was always (or always should have been) a R>Q>E>W. You use E on yourself to set up a Q, and just run in and cast W on either yourself or your AD and let it bounce around.
The important thing is that Nami is *not* Soraka. Soraka is a healbot, or rather, can be played as a healbot (which isn't really optimal honestly, battlemage Raka is hella fun to play). Nami is not a healbot, and should never ever be played as such. It would be like maxing... (insert useless or suboptimal skill here) first. Maxing her heal is like maxing Taric's heal. I mean sure, you're getting more healing... but his other skills are much better to max prior. Same for Nami, people don't realize how good Q and E are, I see so many solo queue Namis focusing on W.
After the Taric nerfs, I tend to max heal first. :>
Already got more points in it in hard lanes prior to that. Then again I max E first on Lulu still, which apparently is terrible according to everyone. I don't play much Lulu though.

It's so unfair that they removed the invisible laser. Now most skillshots are randomly invisible sometimes(or just a really weird color like iblitz hook).Riot be hating on the viktor too much.

Pheonix/Final Attack Annie never dies.

This league system still confuses me. Two days ago my friend and I were in the same Silver I division. I got to Gold V, then won my next 4 games getting ~25 LP for each, won 2 more and got to Gold IV. In the meantime, my friend won the same number of games (we duo queued most of them) and went from 50LP to like 85 LP in Silver I getting 5-7 LP for each win. I know the whole "his MMR must be lower so the system must be trying to keep him from advancing" thing but even when he loses he only loses ~5 LP regardless of solo or duo queue. It's as if the system believes his true MMR is "Silver I level" and the formula has converged to not allow him to move up or down.
|
It should stabilize as soon as he gets his promotion - the system is just really weird.
|
The clamping issue really does seem to cause a lot of strangeness with league points.
I think it's safe to say the highest division in one league and the lowest division in another has a tremendous amount of overlap. Probably a lot of silver 1's who belong in gold 5 and a lot of gold 5's who belong in silver 1.

I tried lulu for a few normals, going standard R > Q > W > E, R > E > Q > W and R > E > W > Q. Can't really figure what i like the most >< Seems like shield is stupidly good if you have mutiple shields on your team, Q is good for peeling and trading in lane, W is kinda mixed since you can use it for the poly or give your AP carry 60 AP (stupid amount, it's 1305 gold AP for 5 seconds). I do think of the 3 ways to max, R > Q > W > E just seem the most logical way, unless you're a shield-heavy team.

Using E as a shield is only half its potential-- its the fact that it turns attacks into a machine gun that make it really useful. It's a skill that essentially scales with its target's attack speed-- early on you and your AD are about the same in that respect, so its not as good as it will be later on. also, q cost increases less per level, and its slow increases.

Hit my end of season goal already last night!

New nunu jungle looks godly, pretty sad I refunded my Nunu Bot skin at the start of S3.

Congrats Diamond.
I want to see jungle Nunu in action. I am still skeptic. I want him to be good, because I want counterjungling to be a thing again.

Moving on to a more relevant topic. I, NeoIllusions, am a scumbag Rumble player. He was definitely one of my go to champions for Top Lane. That said, I'll need to playtest Rumble myself today but I have a strong feeling that he's rather gutted. I think the Flamespitter change I could have lived with but holy shit that Harpoon nerf hurts. Not simply on a harassment level but the fact that Rumble usually has to use Harpoons to last hit against a severe lane bully.
Yeah, when they first introduced the harpoon nerf but danger zone buff it was even in the danger zone, but a nerf outside of it. So it hurt hurt last hitting and being able to 1vs2, but wouldn't have been too big of a deal to SoloQ. Removing the danger zone increase just hurts the spell a lot. One of the more satisfying moments as a Rumble is hitting some dangerzone harpoons for tons of damage.
If you're still looking for a Tanky AP tops I'd take a glance at Cho as well. He's fallen out of flavor but going top allows you to be slightly more of a damage threat than jungle. Zac is obviously a strong choice though.

He's gonna be FotM with a high pick/ban rate in LCS. I don't see him being "tested out" and then thrown away, he's already strong as it is. My guess on an ideal build would be boots5+Spirit spectral+locket+runic. He's gonna be an absolute monster dominating the entire map cus he roams like a boss with Blood Boil. They overdid it with those additional buffs imo, but i guess it's because they want people to completely forget how retardedly OP Nunu is on top lane at the moment.
