Farm with your Q as best you can? Pretty much. Jayce has pretty crazy wave clear with Cannon form QE and Hammer form QW so it's not that hard CS under tower. I mean I realize Tear rush gives you a weak early game, but you just have to play acknowledging this. Just poke from range and if you poke them low enough you can all in them. Also once you get Muramana your power spikes hard mid game.

Aren't there alot of good players in chinese server? I thought there would be more good players there due to alot of people having experience with dota 1. Kinda like the case with sc2 in kr. The thing is, China doesn't have one single server. It has a bunch of smaller regional servers, so it's kind of fragmented. A lot of the good players just end up getting KR smurfs one way or another and just playing KR solo queue.

They give the same regen, but until Tear gets heavily stacked, the % mana regen increase of Chalice is more significant than the max mana gain of ToG (plus it gives immediate stats while the mana of ToG doesn't become fully useful until you finish Manamune/Muramana).
ToG is essentially a gp10 item that gives you mana instead of gold. It gives mana at a very aggressive rate (effectively 26 gp10 worth of mana for someone who can stack it on CD, less for someone who uses spells less often), but you do have to realize that it IS still an item that shifts your item timings in the way that a gp10 item does (although obviously more smoothly because of how fast it generates mana).
This is actually cropping up in ARAMs. Compared to when the queue first launched, a greater proportion of players are starting Chalice instead of Tear. The immediate value and stronger sustain of Chalice becomes extremely obvious when you can't port back to the fountain for healing and have to sustain versus withering poke. The trend is strong enough that I've even seen a few mana-hungry ADs start Chalice instead of Tear so they can rush items with more immediate impact.

Winning the Khaz v Rengar quest and getting that 4th evolution point is pretty strong. Khaz is so flexible when he has all his stuff evolved.
|
Rengar with the head is so much stronger (compared to normal rengar vs. compared to normal khazix). The +150 leap range is stupid good.
Also, I can't get my Ashe icon, QQ.
|
Farm as best you can. If they engage onto you, QEW in ranged form, switch to melee and Q>AA>E them and run back to tower to wait for cooldowns (assuming they're on top of you). If you do it quickly enough and hit the ranged Q (pretty hard at short range), even with tear, you trade pretty evenly with all of them. While you don't have much AD at all, given that you have a tear + consumables and a single dorans/longsword at best, you're effectively trading quantity of skills for quality(damage) of skills.

Aren't you a Champion? How are you Summoning for the League? O_o

You also get an awesome ice crown over your head. I managed to win the quest as Sejuani despite the fact it was 4v5. We lost, but at least I have my crown!

Wait, you get a crown on top of your character for winning the quest event?

Brag + Real question.
I just had the biggest emotional-swing game in months: Dominated lane as lulu (feeding my trist), plus made a few good dragon calls. Somehow got aced under our own mid tower. Then lost another teamfight. Then lost 2 barons. And went down 3 inhibs + 1 nexus tower, straight up CLG style. Finally trist just started slaughtering people and we won in 67 mins.
Which got me to thinking, because we only turned it around after an outstanding teamfight: Lulu ult vs. Sona ult. If both are hit perfectly/nearly perfectly. Which would you prefer?
Edit: More questions. Does shiv's lightning proc lizard elder?

If anyone is watching NLB right now, this MVP blue vs LGIM #2 is pretty close. Pretty interesting comps with xerath and support lissandra.

Depends on team comp really-- you can't really take each ult, you have to look at the kit of the champ overall, and there Lulu kind of wins. Sona is nice, but Lulu has so much utility.
Crescendo is nice because it locks everyone down and lets you drop the damage on them. Wild Growth, used optimally (as in not just saving someone), is basically a shard of true ice aura plus health plus knock up.
