I think that you are only allowed to gift champs, skins, or RP, and RP gifts must be purchased with a credit card (no direct RP transfers). So this is not possible.

Yep, this is the fastest way. Just finished 30 games like this yesterday, so fair warning, you will eventually go nuts after too many games lol.

How to deal with fed Varus in the early game?
Assault and Battery or Aqua Prison into garanteed Javelin Toss. I didn't think our comp had a single chance to win straight-up teamfights (Leona Malphite Cho'Gath in the enemy team, and the fed Varus, we had Draven pretty behind, less-fed Renekton, and the Vi/Nami/Nid mentioned above), but the Nami's ability to nail clutch Aqua Prisons on him after I shoved everyone aside with Assault and Battery to make room won us the first teamfights, and quick decision making to steamroll turrets did the rest.
(Poor Draven was feeling like he couldn't do a thing against Leona, had to tell him that Nami's pretty powerless against her. ^^')

are we playing pubs or are we playing competitive?
i think she's fine as a pub laner just because lots of things work in pubs.
i don't think she works in competitive. i think she deals with 2v1 fine because she can waveclear and keep her tower up with jungle assistance but her teamfight sucks. i don't see anything that she offers that would make her scary in teamfights at all.

She does a metric ton of damage, and that's about it. Her itemization is awkward because her most powerful spell (W) scales off AD and does magic damage, so there's no way to really ramp that up properly.
She's still super strong top-lane 1v1 though, so give it a shot you'd be surprised.

There isn't a single champion that won't work perfectly fine in pubs. You could probably run nearly every champion perfectly fine in competitive play although some of them might need specific team comps.

Some champions are legitimately better than others in pubs though, and quite often not even the same heroes that are the best for competitive plays. It's somewhat worth discussing at least.
A snowballing top-lane shyvanna is scarier than most commonly played top-laners, so I think this is just a matter of people not actually trying it out.

Definitely. And if someone was looking for good pub stomp champions you could make good recommendations. And then there are champions that work fine in pubs but champion X, Y, or Z might be better/easier to make work and do basically the same thing. But if someone wants to play an under valued champion in solo queue often times someone will bitch about it when the reality is that champion is probably 100% fine for unorganized play.

I don't understand the rush to get to 30. Buying xp boosts is silly since in the end everyone is far more IP limited than XP limited. Rushing bot games is mind melting and just unfun. Everything's much more fun just to taking your time and playing.

what's not fun is when you play with friends and you automatically lose lane because you get matched at level 8 against a level 30 who has runes and masteries and you don't even have flash.

If you're lvl 8 then it's normals and you should just faceroll over everyone anyway. X_X Also, at lvl 8, the chances of you getting matched vs someone with high normal ELO is low. More likely you'll get matched with other lvl 8ish smurfs of similar # of wins.

just in pubs, in progames they generally go for frozen heart etc. (but muramana is so much better than manamune that I imagine that now they of course would go for that if urgot was ever played in progames >< )
Then again I think with IBG the Urgot build might work even better. To be honest, I'm not really sure why Urgot's never ever played. He's one of the few ADs that didn't get hit by the movespeed meganerf for example. I know that his range got reduced by 300 which is kind of a big deal but even so... As you generally build tanky on him do you really need to be spamming from 1.5k range all the time? :/

Nah you just get matched against lowbob lvl 30s. Still, the rune and mastery advantage is very significant and you will be depressed over losing to someone horrible because of that(Or they are so bad they lose even with rune and mastery advantage but they need to be quite bad then..)
