Failing your promotion series all the time has an upper limit to how much it can desync your MMR and division, since at some point you have to maintain a 50% loss rate to fail to promote (lose 2/3, win 1 game and get enough points to immediately get back into a promotion series)* *edit: although this needs the assumption that the matchmaker always matches players up evenly, which is generally true for most MMR ranges Hell, lolking could even try to be smart and use LP earned/lost per game as a way to figure out how far off a player's MMR and division is. Not sure if they already do this. | ||

Exercise and a shower. I used to do this when I was playing. Then I'd read or do something else, maybe play a different game, go out, whatever. Then after a while I will come back, play dominion, normals, aram, and generally just dick around and have fun. Then I'd hop back into ranked again feeling refreshed! P.S. Showers are so awesome. Edit: And of course, channel your inner baylife. | ||
