The pace of the game has increased since then--an item like Manamune that doesn't give you immediate effectiveness takes too long to charge up before its combat stats can be considered effective. Furthermore, as mentioned already, Corki doesn't have anything that procs Muramana, which makes the item even less compelling.
On the one hand, I can see why Corki needs a buff to his mana costs--on the other hand, it bothers me that it would contribute further to the ever-growing mana cost creep. We could go back to Season 1 Phosphorous Bomb. That'd make the mana costs worth it. lol...then they'd have to nerf the mana cost more. Season 1 Phosphorous bomb was crazy op. Reveals wards+30% blind? Yesplz. Corki was like the only AD carry I could actually consistently win with lol.
Tbh all they have to do to make Corki in pro scene again is to revert all the nerfs. Namely the W cd nerf and the passive nerf. Buffing his mana cost would help but imo not completely necessary. Pre-passive nerf, Corki wouldnt feel too bad about his Q costing a shitton of mana 'cause post-6 he'd win a ton of lanes with R spam+Sheen/Triforce proc.

Cleaver works with Corki 'cause cleaver+E means your target loses pretty much all their armor. It was better before the S3 changes tho imo.

Haha playing at 5-15 FPS is so tough <_< At least I figured out a way to drop to Bronze 5 without making it obvious I'm trying to throw etc.
Just worried that once I get back to my computer all the games are going to be total jokes and it'll take me a long time until I get to play against challenging opponents again ._. I guess that's going to be a good time to practice Zed and Diana...
Also I still have no idea how from mid I am supposed to gank lanes with the standard wards down. Any tips for both sides?

Just wanted to say, whoever linked that BestofBronze sub reddit is my hero. Seriously some of the funniest clips I've ever watched. Every one that wasn't just a lame level 1 towerdive made me literally lol.
My League self-esteem also skyrocketted.
Seems IdrA knows what's up:

Agreed, I find very little in GD not worth reading.

If you're purple side and know where the enemy Jungler is often times Blue side bot lane will slack on warding Tri bush so you can sneak in that way. Also if they are warding Drag you can use Zed Shadow to sneak into the Bot lane river brush. Also of course some Top laners will slack on wards, just ask your Top to try and keep track a bit on if they are putting wards down. Also lane ganks Top lane are effective since they rarely ward their lane bushes.

I was wondering. Are there any highish (Diamond/high plats) EUW players here who would be interested in forming a semi-pro team ? I got Diamond V 1 month ago and have close to no motivation playing SoloQ anymore. Getting Challenger is pretty much out of my sight atm, but now that I have the mechanical skill down I would like to focus on ranked 5s.
Thanks to my following (~3k fans on FB, 100+ viewers average on stream) and my contacts (Razer, Madcatz, ...), I could get us visibility and maybe sponsorships really fast. Would anybody be interested ?

Oh my, Orb. I haven't heard of him since the "incident" I'll tune in! Gotta watch my hero of bottom lane.

Then you subscribe to the theory that the Ezreal-Graves-Corki period of dominance was caused by Ezreal and the need for other AD Carries to not be countered by the ridiculous state he was in?

Corki is ok in terms of damage he was much better before the nerf to his passive, but the main problem with corki is that he runs out of mana after like 3 or 4 skills its ridiculous.

his mana costs are virtually unchanged from when he was considered super strong. I think this is another case of, just because no one plays this champ, i have to find reasons for why he sucks and assume those are the reasons no one plays him.

Corki is fine in a vacuum, but the other ADCs choices have evolved to the point where there is almost no reason to pick him. Buffing him isn't to make him not UP per say, but to make him a more appealing choice compared to other champs.

I think the biggest reason why StarCraft II fans do not like League of Legends fans is because they’re jealous. And the reason behind that is because StarCraft is the original eSport. StarCraft is why there is eSports nowadays. It’s because they started with everything. They had a very big scene in Korea. They made it so players had a salary and they made it viable as a sport and what happened was League of Legends exploded onto the scene. The viewers are phenomenal. You see people quitting their jobs, stopping school, and a very large number in the U.S. to pursue gaming and StarCraft never had that. They took 10 to 12 years to build that up and League of Legends was there within two years. They’re also getting rewarded more, whereas other StarCraft players work their asses off playing 10 or 12 hours a day, but it just so happens League of Legends is much more accessible and much bigger, in general.

Corki almost HAS to suck though. Its like the Olaf situation. He was a champ that every single player of that position (ADC/Top) had in his repertoire, and played hundreds of games on said champion. Thus every player is incredibly comfortable with said champion, therefore the only explanation for lack of popularity is being crappy (or niche for a teamcomp that doesn't exist).
|
evolved how? cait/varus/graves/vayne pretty much the same, ezreal nerfed significantly, still picked more than Corki, MF buffed.

Or overreaction to nerfs which is the main reason most champion fall out of favor.
From what I remember, what killed Corki was his valkyrie nerf.

During the period he was picked the three big ADCs were Grave/Corki/Ez and not much else. The diversification of ADCs has been huge since the end of Season 2 and Corki hasn't really be a part of it.
