There was a discussion a while back about a similar issue on the DotA subforum a couple months back. And there was a pretty sizable group with the opinion that "players shouldn't have to play for teams they don't like". Unfortunately, if the discussion is only going to go that far, it's hard to see Western E-sports becoming more professional when it comes to teams.

I use the upvote/downvote system to try to affect what I see on the front page of r/lol. Which means I downvote all tribunal posts (regardless of how valid they are), all "dat play" youtube videos (they're funny, but there are too many of them. I'll watch it, laugh, then downvote it), all "riot pls" (even if I agree with them), all balance whine, all skin ideas without a concept art, all "is the server down", all elo-hell discussion, all posts telling me how to vote for all-stars, and especially all meta-discussion about r/lol. Everything else gets upvoted. EDIT: TO clarify, I upvote well-written articles about the pro lol scene because I don't see enough of them, but I can see if someone only wants to watch 30 second youtube videos that they downvote everything else

The current system of teams is definitely not safe for someone like Chaox. Esports in LoL is just very new. And this way teams can adapt the fastest theoretically. But it's really up to the players to demand contracts when they join a team, and they really don't have much bargaining power.

Is a slow on Q and the ult change that big? PBE doesn't have a slow on Q, but Q doesn't lock your champ in place for 3 seconds while your target runs away, so Q doesn't interfere with your attack speed any more. W gives 80% attack speed and has nearly 100% uptime with CDR thanks to lowered CD at high ranks. His ultimate has basically doubled in effectiveness with a 12 second duration and nearly double the damage against a 2k HP target. E is still good and I'd still max it if my team needed the disengage. It doesn't look like a whole lot on paper but do not underestimate a Q that's brought in line with all the other onhit skills in the game and doesn't screw with your own attack speed buff. ..under W he also can't be slowed ATM but I think that's a bug.
