In my opinion biggest difference between people who are able to jungle, and jungle well is the anticipation, some kind of jungler sense. Guess thats required in these roaming supports aswell. Tho these supports are almost completly forgotten. I also wonder why people stopped playing support alistar.

Playing on someone else's account and ruining games of players who are worse than you is the same as smurfing, which is (and should be) completely acceptable. Which means that if you aren't per chance getting money for doing it, it's fine. If you are, however, then Riot will make a huge deal out of it and ban you. I can somewhat understand this, as getting an account to level 30 is a hassle, which prevents some people from doing it, but I would say that ruining the game for sub-30 players is much worse than the rating of players who are already in this game for good (there is no escape).
More importantly, duo-queuing with someone and getting paid for it is not okay, but if I don't get any money and do it with my "friends", it's suddenly acceptable? The people suffer the same, again. Maybe I just happen to have a "lot" of low-level friends that want to play with me, how is Riot going to know if I'm making money from it or not?
I guess the point of this post is (and I realize many people already know this, but I've already written too much for me to delete this) that this was pretty much only for show and to prevent people who think about it from taking the next step and doing it. I also think it's pretty funny how serious people on Reddit are taking this, with everyone apologizing and swearing that such unacceptable behavior will never happen again. The more I think about it, though, it's more sad than funny. You're also missing the second half of why Riot doesn't like elo jobs. Not only are you ruining the games of lower level players, but you're ALSO ruining the games of higher level players when the recipient of an elo job is playing with players of significantly higher skill level.
And yes, it's definitely a show of force to deter people from elo boosting (receiving or giving.)
Besides, when you level a new smurf to 30, you quickly end up in smurfland - most likely within 10 games of creating the new account.

Headbutt range nerf hurt him, he's coming back into popularity recently though after they reverted that.

We just got a new patch on the chinese server, and they reverted the accept/decline change from waaaay back back to the old system of "finish waht you're doing (30 secs)/accept now". Is this chinese server only or did they change it on the main servers too?
EDIT: we got the Quinn patch (I think?) yesterday, to be specific

The only issue is he keeps getting caught during odd midgame warding scenario. I like that he gets farmed as support; farmed support new shit!
lol, Jintae throwing up on someone.
Oh man, this St.V and DL banter is so funny, it's like watching old friends catching up.

People kinda slightly overreact to most of the nerfs, alistar one is prime example of it. I can agree that initating might be slightly harder because of decreased range of headbutt, but he still provides solid sustain during laning, his skills scale through the game time rather well, besides the E. Wish that lulu and taric weren't so obvious choices for supports.

there is a big difference between a support/jungler who gets farm while he is pushing a lane or a support/jungler who pushes a lane while he gets farm. I suppose SV knows that really well because the same principle can be applied to clearing jungle camps.
the best junglers and supports are very objective oriented players who make strategic decisions (and are often the shot callers of their teams because of that). SV is an interesting exception. He wants to be the leader but he is known as a carry and not a strategist/tactician. He does not make things possible, he just makes things.

This is what happens after an Elo job.
http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/22248620#history
The guy is platinum V but his mm has dropped so low that he is getting paired with silvers III and the like. I have the misfortune of playing a game with him on my team and it was a disaster he was 0/5/0 before lvl 6 and he told us that his current streak was of 19 loses.

This may sound surprising but people go on losing streaks all the time.I've had a losing streak from ~2200 to ~1800 elo without a single win.I didn't get boosted. Also who cares. It's just yoloq.

How the hell did they find out about the elo boosting shit? Did they track IP logs of every LCS pro?

When my friends are on massive losing streaks from 1800 down to maybe 1500 and duo with me they're still dominating lane and getting fed enough to 1v2 the enemy jungle when he ganks and pretty much single handedly carries our team.

I can acknowledge a max 10 loss streak, even if you played good and your team fed/afk/dc/trolls, but pretty sure anything past that "full loss matchhistory" point is just purely a mindset issue and you already go into the games with a negative attitude
or you just didn't belong in that elo in the first place. Seems smart to just stop after 4-5 losses in a row and try again the next day

Looks like he's just been tilting+has an unlucky streak - it's not even like he has bad scores in all his games.
Also he has good KDA's with a varied amount of champs over a lot of games which is unheard of if he got Elo boosted.

So, I'm trying out Quinn.
Amongst many thoughts, it feels so lame to me that killing Valor during Tag Team also kills Quinn. I think it would be mad cool if there was some mechanic that forced you to kill both of them. Once you kill one the other steps in.

all his scores blow he if you look at his elo chart he went from like 1600 to 1900 in a very short time then dropped the elo boosting story looks more legit to me.
