It's almost as much as Soraka's ult at level 18(granted Soraka's ult is global) and barrier(barrier has a shorter cooldown). I know there are a lot of ignites in the current meta but heal seems to be strong in anything other than a 1v1. Say you're in a big teamfight and your team has all taken a bit of damage (more than 440) and is clumped up. Then you use heal. Even if one target is ignited, you'll still heal close to 2000 hp worth of damage.
Whereas for exhaust to reduce that much damage, you'd need to use it on someone who relied on autoattacks and who would have done 2000*(1/.5)*(1/.7)/2.5=2290~ damage per second post armor mitigation.(.5 is the attack speed reduction on exhaust. .7 is 1minus the damage reduction on exhaust. 2.5 is the duration of exhaust).
I know real games are not so simple and ignite is more likely to let you snowball but I rarely snowball as it is. No one plays soraka anymore either. So, there is that. I think, mostly, that despite people talking about the "Warmogs" or "Locket" metas this is still League of Cleavers, just without Black Cleaver. Burst damage Ala Khazix, Zed, or Lux really can take a non-tanky (not just squishy) target 100-0% or 100-33% depending on the time in the game.
The problem IMO is that Morello supposedly HATES healbots like Soraka, yet Riot nerfed Soraka's W's armor duration instead of heal amount.

All I see when I watch their scrims is them trying new strats and communicating quite well like discussing mistakes and how they should of handled certain situations, its a bit rough and crude at times but they get shit done and then they turn off their sound and discuss the games afterword. Scrims last night was them jacking off basically.

yea maybe my wording was a bit too "doomsayerish". lets just say they have to get their shit together so that impression doesnt stay.
i mean they live in a gaming house where they should live the game and its aspects every damn minute of the day. and then "maybe we could do dragon! hmm yea maybe? is it up? i dont know!". that is just not what you expect from a pro team.
you would expect a solid game plan and a step-by-step execution of it. every step and reaction should be atleast talked about before in a tactic meeting. just like we see with the koreans.

The attitude that fans like watching NA teams more then foreign teams, and more people watch when "local" teams do well, so that Koreans winning everything is a bad thing for the scene as a whole.

Curse has always been known as a reactionary team; they prefer to capitalize on enemy reactions, rather than initiate actions.

Btw thanks to that one guy who said frozen fist aoe works with Gangplank's parrrley.
Can confirm that it does and it adds another level of meta farming.

Well they both are "passive". My point really is that heal(plus heals in general) have been nerfed to a really weak state. And considering burst is so strong right now, it needs to be evaluated. I remember a while back, and Soraka's W heal is really pretty small, on average I think it heals for ~ either a Ryze or Annie Q, with obviously higher mana costs and a higher cooldown. For most of the game heals are worse than shields (based on numbers and timing), but Riot has made the decision that for the small # of the time that heals are really strong, they are too strong, and thus cannot exist.

I love cheering for Gambit, but other than them I don't really like any pro team except maybe TSM (if Regi decided to go ham more often again, I liked them when Regi was always on the verge of throwing).

...Relax. Seriously. If you think I meant some actual offense by that other then colorful use of a word to illustrate a point I'am a tad hurt. That point being some people consider Korean domination of a scene(ala sc2) in a negative light because then they don't get to see the players they know as well win.
I really could care less, in the end I want all of my favorite teams to do well. Curse I think could adapt.

I was wondering if someone made some graphs about Gold per sec comparing how much gold you gained base vs gold quint vs gold item.
I'm hoping to calculate if its more efficient to build certain items or use certain runes, and how much time before gold/sec are worth it

I tried out the spirit of the elder lizard for a while. It's not bad but I'm not sure if it's worth... maybe on mid plank it'd be better. For top you can't go wrong with the ol' sword (botrk) and shield (randuins) unless you're vs ap.

While you're pretty horribly wrong and Curse would certainly get crushed by CJ or WE or iG...
It was pretty silly of that guy to compare the gameplay level of teams at an IEM Championship to a team scriming a non-pro team. Who cares how Curse behaves in scrims against teams that aren't even in the NA LCS. At most it proves that they maybe don't take the game as seriously but honestly I would be shocked if top level Koreans or Chinese teams even bother scrimmaging teams of that caliber so it's not like you can even make a comparison.
Or wait, is he talking about the TSM scrims last night? I'm pretty out of it but if they didn't even have Nyjacky they probably weren't taking whatever scrim seriously in the first place so yeah. I'm sure if Blaze was scrimming with their manager playing AP mid they wouldn't take the scrim that seriously either.
