I think you are vastly underestimating the damage of her W, the free autoattack from Q and her passive. | ||

Damage is great tho, I like her. she's not a primary initiator, similar to warwick. her dps is not bursty so you need to dive carries when you can get that sustained dps in. you don't want to ult, hit E once, and then die to cc. flash-vault breaker makes me feel manly during ganks though | ||

Jarvan as support brings only 1 second of hard CC + the ultimate (from which many ADs can escape without flash) and he's relatively squishy on low items compared to Leona. Leona can stun for 3 seconds, plus a short snare, and it's definitely easier to hit both abilities of EQ for Leona than Jarvan. Also consider what they bring past the laning phase - Jarvan isn't gonna keep up in damage later on in the game, his ultimate CAN be useful in teamfights, but ultimately, a well-applied Jarvan ulti could also be a well-applied Leona ulti, and the latter isn't going to dick over your team. Also, he only has a small armor steroid which he probably isn't even going to level up first, so he can't really have presence on the front line of teamfights with only a few ruby crystal items in the face of farmed enemy threats. Leona's W allows her to really get in up on the front line, and her teamfight initiation potential is immense with both her EQ combo and her long range ulti. | ||

Plus, J4's knockup can hit the enemy enemy team, which is something Leona can't do nearly as easily, and he can even use it while retreating which is again, something Leona has difficulty with. He brings more mobility, more AoE, and more aura. Leona brings all-in, better single target CC, and a bit more damage (depending, because if J4 builds a few damage items, like Zeke's, he can definitely do more damage than Leona) J4 is very much a legitimate support champion, and it annoys me greatly how many people don't seem to get that. | ||

2-3 is most realistic, even 4 is a stretch unless you're fighting in a really enclosed space (the AoE is only radius 300). | ||

This is the final build, not sure about the order yet... Gunblade Muramana Frozen Fist Liandri's Torment and then Deathcap and whatever is necessary at that point. The few times I've tried this I did absolutely gross single target damage and really decent AOE. The Fist and gunblade work really well Liandri's which gains extra damage from your ult and E too. Plus Muramana feels amazing on him with his Q and W. It's really insane. | ||

As for J4's ultimate, people do like to point out how easy it is to escape, but never bother to point out how ridiculously good it is at forcing people to blow their escapes at what is often a sub-optimal time, allowing your team to close in on them without any escapes left. And for someone who happens to not have any escapes left, it's a ridiculously long CC. | ||
