It also plays on the notion that as you release stronger champs, the next ones have to follow that "standard" or be UP, so it worsens every time.

In a LoL context it usually refers to the average power of a champion decreasing by virtue of multiple new champions being released with better kits that he original. For example Annie falling out of favor could be explained by power creep (Diana, Ahri, Orianna, new Kat, Syndra etc all having more advanced kits). Doh! Shend hard.

Power creep happens in any game where new elements are added alongside existing ones. Examples are champs in LoL, items in MMOs, or cards in CCGs like magic the gathering. Basically as more elements are added to the game, newer ones may have a tendency to be better than older ones. So power creep is a tendency for newer game elements to have a higher relative power level compared to older ones. Movement creep derives from this in LoL with the proliferation of more and more new-ish champs that have dashes, gap closers, etc.

Great, you have like 2 more ad at level 18 than most other champs. The whole thing of FF is the slow which kass can only apply at melee range, which is totally a waste because if you have problems sticking to a target as kass you probably have broken E and R keys on your keyboard. That shit cost 3400g, so your only gonna get it when laning is like decided and over, and what are you going to open? sheen will be trash and you'll get pooped on if you try to go melee khazix with it, a glacial shroud makes you useless period and you arent gonna be able to cs with either spells or AAs. AD or hybrid kass isn't that bad (it got worse when they nerfed cutlass in s3), but FF isn't what you should build on him.

Glacial first doesn't seem bad against a bruiser mid, Kass likes the CDR and mana pool and needs the armor to stay in lane; it's not like you're wasting the stats.

To get more than a quick auto in, though, they need to commit, and thus if the opponent isn't weakened enough to die from the dive it can be tricky to harass them (compared to, say, Olaf, Darius, Jayce, etc.). I think you overestimate towers. Jax for example can just tank tower, hit you with his combo bursting you for 50% and go back to farming and then kill you when his cooldowns are back. This is a "person who shops + is full hp vs person with empty inventory"-scenario. It's not exactly an off the wall idea imo, pretty logical.

I don't know which level you play at, so this might sound overly simplistic and obvious, but basically: Pushing the wave into the opponents tower range resets the wave. A wave reset happens when every single one of your minions dies to the tower before the opponents next creep wave arrives at their tower, so the opponent last hitting under tower actually helps the reset happen. With experience, you can learn to see if this will happen or not as your creeps reach the opponent tower (based on how big your wave is and how soon your next wave will reach your first tower). If you're sure there's a wave reset incoming, it's safe to back because you lose nothing when your opponent pushes and your wave can't possibly push as it's being reset. Unless your opponent has really good push, he should have a hard time pushing into your tower during the time you're back in base, which is the only way he can make you start losing cs and exp. So you can either push and force a wave reset when you want to back, though I normally find you get into situations where you want to wavereset often enough that there's plenty opportunity to back without forcing it.
