Bloody hell you guys need to chill out on the TSM hatred. I don't know what they did to you guys but being a tad harsh. I don't even like TSM but to call them terrible is just downright untrue.
A few months ago everyone was raving how good Xspecial was and how he made plays for the team, meanwhile dyrus playing vlad killing and dominating toplanes and baiting people into poor fights. The crowds they are fickle I guess.
Ignoring all of this, why are you guys trying to judge pro players skill in solo que in what is essentially the off season for them. Do you really think Dyrus gives much care to ranked solo que on New years eve? It's pointless to judge other then to have something to talk about.
I guess it's slightly better then people discussing phreaks personal life but not by much.

The thing is that he is both a major shot-caller, and also really aggressive. If he tilts and he starts to feed, they sort of lack a strong voice to take over. And his aggression is also really hit or miss. That to me is part of the reason why he is good on Karthus, it forces him to temper his aggression to more reasonable levels, though I seem to remember seeing him flash in and wall+lay waste an opponent under tower...
The reason why Regi spams Karthus at tournaments is because Karthus is easy and Regi is bad.
Maybe as a shot caller he's really good. But in lane and in team fights he's bottom of the barrel.

When did people ever rave about how good xpecial was? O.o
And, if you were reading the comments correctly, everyone here said Dyrus is good on Vlad/Kayle, but he's stupid and stopped playing these champs.

Looking back, it seems that the period when TSM were strong might simply coincide with a period in the meta when champs they were strong at were more strongly favored, such as Karth/Kayle/pre nerf Ez.
I think Chaox in particular really benefited from the Corki-Ezreal-Graves era, as he was strong on those champions Do people still ride on ChaoX banwagon? I was never impressed with his play tbh, he looks good in terms of NA/EU scene ADC, but in international scene he looks horrid. But NA junglers aren't even good so it doesn't matter Chaox is decent, not that far behind top AD carries imo. Xpecial has awful mechanics, pretty average NA support Dyrus is atrocious all around and was never good. It was just that he had no competition. Who the hell was gonna beat him in lane? Hotshot? nope Reginald is/was their only hope, but now he's mediocre too I think you guys have some kind of bias, Dyrus was clearly the best top laner in the world at some point and he's still a contender. Also, he's my friend irl, so eat a dick.

People just want NA teams to be more of a threat in international tournaments. That's why they hate on TSM for seemingly stagnating and Hotshot losing lanes etc. etc.

I thought he stopped playing them because the rest of the team (mostly Regi I would guess) told him to stop playing them? I don't know for sure, this was before I found LoL and got into the pro scene, but that is what most people seem to say.

He's stupid to listen to his team, and his team is retarded for even suggesting otherwise. Best tsm was when Rainman got replaced with Dyrus, and Dyrus carried through top lane.
Also, anyone read that reddit thread about the guy saying mobafire is somewhat decent? I had a hernia from laughing so damn hard.

Well, north american teams are the only teams that couldn't get past the group stages, it is pretty sad that at least one team from every other region can make it past but the NAs who got the game first, can't.

A majority of people want to cheer for a team that has a chance of winning. Currently no team from the NA region has a realistic chance of winning a tournament that includes an Asian team. It's pretty difficult for a casual viewer to care and cheer for the faceless Asian teams that have no personality. It's frustrating when your 'home' team never wins international tournaments and still puts in less effort than most Korean teams.
The NA team hate is largely from people wanting them to do better.

I would not be surprised if the /r/leagueoflegends mods would decide to remove Phreak's dating interests; simply due to not having anything to do with League of Legends (assuming if someone would be posting it in the first place).

CLG is still going through roster changes, so will be shaky for a while.

Stephen Hawking couldn't even calculate the size of that black hole after that much mass had entered it. Okay, I'll stop. It's just eww to me. x_x
And yeah, Dyrus definitely isn't TSM's weak link lol. TOO listens to Regi's calls but TOO stopped doing ONLY what Regi told him to do, as that made TOO not be able to make any plays himself when it was needed. But TSM's strongest was mainly the whole kayle + karthus + ez comp. ez, graves, and corki are definitely chaox's strongest AD's...always have been. And Dyrus really could carry. It's just NA teams overall aren't as strong as korean or even many euro teams. Either it's mechanics, overall strategy, etc. It's not just "because they have gf's." >_>
