A champion is only as good as the teamcomps you draft them in, and Froggen's playstyle more or less forces CLG.Eu to draft comps that suit Anivia best, hence why he values her so highly. The champ is much lower-value to a team who's playstyle requires a much more active mid (you will virtually never seem M5 or WE play Anivia, not because Alex Ich or Misaya don't have the mechanics to play the champ, but because the champ's passivity is a liability to the active playstyle that their drafts typically expect from their mids) but Froggen would quit CLG.Eu before they force him to actually do shit around the map. So essentially, Anivia is an extremely powerful pick for an extremely particular style of team. But that could be said of like 90% of the champs in the game.

![]() You can't even bank for lategame because blackcleaver is blowing everything up in a few seconds. and then the flame happens: OMG AD CARRY only 50cs 15minutes, yeah guess what I told you since the beginning that we need ganks for some freekills but you didnt even come once. I always thought that Froggen got alot of underserved shit around the end of season 2 for his heavy farming style. There was this 1-2 month period where he played/was asked to play Karthus every single game. And a "never leave lane always farm" Karthus is probably the perfect style because clg.eu is stalling for lategame 90% of the time. Same probably applies to Anivia, although he didn't get to play her at all ever since they went to korea. When Froggen had picks like Lux, Ahri and Lee sin you actually saw him going around the map for some amazing ganks while still maintaining a sick 10-11cs/minute rate.

Wonder why they decide to nerf the shit out of kogmaw (and later all supports), but bird is still A-ok.

Darius still has a resetable true HP nuke, a sieable DoT if he can stack his passive, in s2 he'd always do damage thanks to 25% passive ArPen, his hook is huge utility and he can build tanky and still deal a lot of damage. Yeah he's not the diver type that'll 1v1 the enemy AD past a certain point, but in his "I'm tough to kill but if you ignore me my ult will kill a high-value target" way he's amongst the bests. He falls off less than a lot of champs.

Because Riot brazenly overreacts to FotMs, and Anivia's never actually been FotM because of her high skill requirement? Riot totally overreacting to a FotM is neither new nor surprising.

Feel like the "power creep" is more due to champion design than straight out numbers. They made the mistake of introducing high mobility without drawbacks and now everyone has to have some kind of mobility to be viable it seems. At least for melees.

Does any think Riot will or should ever retire certain champions from Ranked play in an effort to keep the champion pool from getting out of hand? highly doubt it. that would royally fuck over anyone who bought the champ, especially with rp, and anyone who enjoys playing the champ.

Evidently Viktor's presence in game was disabling Tibbers outright. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2888254&page=2 + Show Spoiler + Going by the various bug report threads, it seems that Viktor's presence in a game was somehow disabling Annie's ult.

Not only because of skillcap, but because even if you master the bird, the rest of your team still will derp around and it won't matter. Her strength is teamfights, but "teamfights" always end up being a series of 2v3s where one side inevitably follows up on a single player's derp causing a team derp into a loss. TOO has a semi-famous video about this, but I can't find it. She is? 1. Walk up to the opposing laner. 2. Press R (you can't miss it, the AOE is huge). 3. Press E (targeted spell). 4. ??? 5. Congrats. You have just out-traded 90% of other mid laners.
