That said, I think I was most satisfied with the state of the game around Orianna patch, in terms of overall power level and gameplay. It went downhill after Yorick patch. Yorick ruined the game. | ||

It seriously felt like my armor was actually doing nothing. I've never died so fast before when literally every item I built was geared towards defensive stats. Like, maybe with all the changes, especially in how armor is more expensive while AD is less expensive, and the penetration changes, pure defensive speccing just doesn't work as well anymore. But I was playing pretty bad and so was my team, so it might have just been a game that went wrong in every single way. I'll try it again and see how it goes. | ||

Penetration is always a big problem because there is no real counterplay. buying more hp i guess. :/ EDIT: okay i guess going 21 in defense, getting ninja tabi every game and playing damage reduction based characters (sona support, exhausts, maokai) | ||

Idk, I'm not anywhere good enough at this game to judge balance. All I know is going BC>BT>Hydra on Riven has been very enjoyable. | ||
