Most internal game end results have shown that strong farm junglers (especially when factoring in successful ganks and lane sharing/covering) can keep up in gold with the lanes and often end up with experience levels slightly between the solo lanes and the duo lane. "Keep up" implies that gold is roughly equal. Obviously we don't have numbers, and Statikk was vague about the details, but the possibility exists. Right now a jungler can surpass a laner's farm by covering lanes between clears. You don't often see this style because it isn't worth the loss of map presence to have your jungler farmed. With jungle gold increasing by an unspecified amount it's entirely possible that we'll cross that threshold and eventually see a meta shift. Note also that my numbers are calculated, not random digits I threw together because I wanted to look smart. For example, I calculated the ~25% figure like so: (246g/min * 70% - 154g/min * 90%) / (154g/min * 90%) * 100% = 24.24% | ||

The likelyhood of that happening in a serious game is, of course, pretty small. It would take a rather large meta shift for teams to suddenly embrace the idea that they might never see a jungler in their lane all game long, and you'd start to see a much larger game-impact split between farm junglers and gank junglers (who are kind of interchangeable right now). I think it would be interesting, personally, it's kind of a playstyle that does not really exist currently. The other thing I think you need to take into account is the fact that the jungle will be (in their words) "harder". You likely can't just throw any hard carry in there (like Irelia for instance) and call it a farm lane, it will require certain champions. And even then, if it is still difficult for them, they may be forced into build paths like Wriggles/the new AP Wriggles/the new AD Caster Wriggles, all of which slow down and damper the hyper carry build.
