If the power of minions is increased, there is an area where you are so far ahead that you win an even fight, but not any fight. This does not really exist at the moment. I think they addressed this by removing the -4 combined damage from minions you could take from the def tree, and it would be interesting to see how much that alone changes things. If minions do non-neglectable damage, freezing lane or zoning the enemy becomes much harder. This actually goes hand in hand with what I was saying about top laner map mobility. Freezing the lane is supposed to be a tradeoff. You gain safety/zoning ability, but you lose the ability to control your lane opponent's map movements because you willingly allow the creep pressure to always be slightly toward your side, limiting your vision on the lane, and making it harder to push his tower if he chooses to leave. The problem is that the infrequency and typical ineffectiveness of top lane ganking other lanes means that this isn't actually a tradeoff--you freeze the lane and there's no downside because it's unlikely that your opponent will take advantage of this and leave to go gank your other lanes/jungle--and even if he does, it's unlikely he will be effective enough for it to be worth it. Top lane snowballs because it's isolated. Everyone's had that game where they were winning mid lane, but then the enemy mid laner ganks your bottom lane, gets a double kill, and puts himself completely back in the game while giving an advantage to his bot lane. This doesn't happen from top lane because top laners are more or less expected to just stay on lane--so if you are incapable of staying on lane, there's just nothing you can do. Again, it's a question of whether this is because the game encourages this, or because it's just how people choose to play now.

If vision was a resource instead of a given maybe it would be a bit easier for them to impact the map Unfortunately, the addition of Sightstone is going to make vision even less of a resource and even more of a given.

Xsmithie's jangle Olaf was pretty fantastic, too - great ambushes on Mao, and later on the game near the enemy blue where he hung around on 10% HP for a few minutes hiding behind walls and sniping kills with Undertow like some sort of bargain-bin Xerath.

Hahahahaha, that quote's awesome. Xsmithie can be very on and off, sometimes very strong, but sometimes underwhelming. I think today it was just a complete mismatch from Fear, each lane pretty much beat quantic.

Q W R W Q is the basic one, throw a human E in there before or after initial human burst, and a spider E if you need to catch up to hit spider W Q
