Since he's an assassin, you could pair him with Diana or Katarina top and get an initiator as jungler or support for a balls-out diving/burst teamfight comp, I guess, but those seem pretty fragile to me (though something like Diana/Talon/Noc/Leona/ADC would be ballsy). He'd feel awkward with a standard bruiser top (Olaf, Irelia, etc.) because then you'd lack magic damage and that'd make the late game even more risky. Since he's all physical damage and has no survivability like other assassins (Katarina shunpo out, or just the %reduced damage, Diana's shield and slow, QR to creeps, similar mechanics for Akali, Leblanc's "return" on W, etc.) he just seems a lot more difficult to fit in a correctly thought out composition to me, even without taking into account all the "X does that job better than him" argument. Which makes me sad since I like him more (well I like Kat almost as much but I can't be a hipster anymore even if she was my first regularly played champ ![]() | ||

Further, levelling W increases the passive mana sustain in hammer form, while Thundering Blows knockback and stun never get any better. What's the logic behind Q>E? | ||

Shorter cooldown on E for more poke? Idk, a lot of people saw Maknoon do it and just copied it. And people haven't seen how he levels it after the nerf since MLG Dallas was an the pre-nerf patch.
