What a tool. I remember when he was doing mediocre Let's plays on Something Awful, and ditched that to start doing LoL commentary. The guy couldn't be more two-faced.

And boom, people take TB's photo of an empty area from 2 hours ago seriously... Christ, LoL's not even set to start for another 15 minutes. Chillax.

He's trolling, like I said I have kind of a beef with him going back awhile and it's dumb stuff like that that kind of keeps adding straws.

He literally spent months on a multiple Let's Plays trying to step into moderate internet fame and ditched a bunch of incomplete projects to go make LoL commentaries. It's kind of obvious what his goal is, so he makes dumb jokes like that to get a rise and get people responding to his name more. And it works. He's a tool but atleast he's not dumb.

OFF topic question: what's the difference between Greater Seal of Clarity and Greater Seal of Replenshment and why do I see the first one so often in builds? is it so much better than the flat manareg?
Edit: I get that the difference is the per level part, but is the gap so big?
|
Flat mana regen is better for levels 1-9 I believe then the per level mana regen seals start beating them
|
To be honest, LoL needs better casters (read: Entertainers). If people who make a living off of casting / commentating want to switch in to LoL, power to them. Even if they don't know shit about the game they provide a good example for other casters in terms of 'production quality' (not the right term to use, but couldn't think of anything better).

Clarity: Grants 0.065 per level Replenishment: Grants 0.41
6th grade maths to the rescue:
0.065x=0.41 --->x=6.3
Replenishment is better from level 1-6, Clarity is better from level 7 on, and continue to get better the longer the game goes on. If you are most concerned about 1-6, get Replenishment. If you want later manaregeneration, get Clarity. Usually you get neither, since armor, health/level or ap/level are almost always better.

Doesn't it depend on the champ aswell? Let's say you play Ahri, who's pretty poke heavy, wouldn't the manareg seals be a good choice? And wtf is up with EUW, laggy as hell, and now after wanting to relog a 1h 40 mins queue o_O

Seal 0.065 / level vs. 0.41 (Level 6.3 breakeven point. Less at 6, more at 7.) Glyph 0.055 / level vs. 0.31 (level 5.6 breakeven point.)
Thing is, mana regen is one of the few things where this is worthwhile tradeoff to go per level. Most characters aren't going to burn through all their mana pre-6, and if you're trying to avoid buying a mana item through your runes, the per levels are going to be more effective. Either glyphs or seals can work well for this.

Hmm... this my be a really dumb question, but is it me or is it really easy to get stuck on minions now? I'm having crazy derp movements.

Yea it's been like that for past few weeks*Months?). I'm not sure if Riot acknowledged it or anything but it is known issue

I usually play support, so usually last hitting and such isn't as big of a deal, but occasionally when I go toplane the pathing really screws me up when I play a melee character. It was also really bad when I was playing on TT as well, but I thought it was a problem just for that mode.
Playing with Cho is really, really hard because of it. Get stuck on all the creeps, wish you could just step on them at 6 stacks >_>

It's been like this for a few months I think - I dunno what caused it. I did, however, read about some guy speculating that it might have to do with a rework of how terrain altering skills such as jarvan ult and anivia wall work (since the walls are compromised of units, apparently).

manareg/level start to break even at 7 yes but they only start to get more useful if you can go back and refill. if you stay until lvl 7 in your lane you will have regenerated more mana with flat runes so after lvl 7 the per level runes still have to catch up.
most of the time you can get home with more farm and you are able to push your lane harder if you have more spells even if its just 1-2 spells you will have a slight advantage that is certainly more significant than having a tiny bit more ap which will certainly not add enough damage to overcome the base value of a whole spell (not even a lvl 1 spell).
ap runes are only better if you have enough mana to make full use of your spells and never have to save mana when you could have done something useful with a cooldown.
