Neo's had calendar access since last week so it's a matter of which events should be added. If you think something could be added, submit the event details here so he doesn't have to find it himself and potentially get it wrong. Just don't spam small events - that's why it's only the big ones right now. Neo shouldn't have to do too much unless he wants to add the MLG prizefights or the IPL5 Qualifiers since the next two big events are MLG and IPL (both have SC2).

TF's re-work is really dumb looking. He looks like a giant and his walk is all awkward. Also, Riot finally caved and made Twisted Fate the first black champion. I hope that Riot reduces his size because he's just too damn big now. I feel like the only adult on a children's playground when I play Twisted Fate now.

His size is one thing, his attack animation is another horrible change. It looks like straight from a bad anime.

Not only is his attack animation kinda crappy and the cards less obvious on use, but it is nearly impossible to tell when his Wild Cards actually fucking HIT something based on their animations. It's really frustrating.
|
yeah I don't like the rework either. Its easier to see the cards when I'm not looking directly onto tf but his body model just looks oversized and out of place. He might grow on me and its nice to see a fresh change to him. I doubt this will be the thing that makes him more popular in NA.
|
He's gonna get reverse Pulsefire'd. People are going to play TF less simply because of how stupid he looks right now.
He's like my top three or four champions and it's honestly difficult to play as him right now. And yes, it's much harder to tell if Q is going to hit or not. Both playing as TF and against TF there have been cards that look like they hit but don't do damage and vice versa.

So... is there something to Zeal first Graves? I see it a lot and most of the time they're utterly useless (last game featured a Zeal Graves vs Phage Corki, dude couldn't dodge Blitz grabs so he got squashed anyway), are they baddies trying to emulate some stuff that makes sense, or are they just baddies that don't get that AD-scaling damage spells call for AD rather than AS? It's before any BF on his recommended items and triforce is recommended too, so I guess there's some of that. I can see the reasoning on Vayne/Kog, and somewhat on MF (I don't think it's efficient even when maxing her W tho), but not on Graves at all, it's not like you'll use the AS to reset your E faster in lane anyway.

You just look at skillshots passing right through your opponent, or juke a skillshot and die anyway while seeing the particle pass besides you.

Not really, people just don't understand that different ADs might actually build differently. They're probably used to Vayne/Kog (as you said), where PD rush or PD with some DBlades is pretty normal and good.

Yay, bugsplat while loading up a spectator game. Nothing is safe any more.

If you're talking about messed up hitboxes, don't forget Morg's Q.
Or maybe I just suck

I think price is also a reason. If you're forced to recall and don't have enough for a BF sword it's tempting to buy any part of zeal.

i find the sona and blitz nerfs hilarious because they keep nerfing supports for some reason.
i think only taric and leona have never been nerfed.
come to think of it, i'd like to see hero kills be worth more exp. it always sucks when you roam, gank a lane, and then come back and see that your lane opponent has a level on you.

Taric's rework was a nerf in some ways, depending on who you ask. He's still probably my favorite support next to Janna.
I wish roaming supports was more accepted. There are so many times where I want to get Mobo boots on Taric and go stun mid for a free kill, but ADs are so used to having a babysitter that it's like, unheard of to leave.

This was something i was looking into in CS:GO and i'm wondering if something similar is going on here.

Thats because competitive match/ranked 5s =/= solo que. Instead of a situation where your AD is practiced to laning 1v2 without dying all you'll end up getting is a pub AD who is going to get zoned/killed. Not to mention the "free" kill probably won't even happen if the enemy mid laner still has flash up.

the double exp weekend starts tonight in a few hours right? think we're gona get a patch for the holloween stuff and the double ip will come with that?
Would be really cool if they did double ip weekends for these holiday packages. xmas would be a really smart time to have a big scene push with skins wards and another double ip weekend.

League does seem to use a networking model more similar to FPS games than RTS games. I'm pretty convinced the constant complaints of skillshots appearing to just go through their targets is more of a combination of their latency to the server + imperfect netcode than straight-up broken hit detection. This is just anecdotal, but I'm playing on a university line with consistent 30 ping, and I've literally never notice skillshots malfunction like lots of people seem to describe.
Invisible projectiles, on the other hand...
