So, as far as Great Buys on Carries go
If you're getting dived by phys bruisers, try picking up a Warden's Mail. It helps 1v1 the enemy carry, it helps kite bruisers, it helps keep you alive against phys burst, and it's just 1350 gold. Not a bad thing to grab between IE/Zeal and PD.

Even not so exciting replays. I find the hardest thing for casters is finding something interesting to say when nothing interesting is happening.

It's funny because carries are always like "what my team should do is peel for me when I get dived" and never buy defense early, but when you're not on a pro team you gotta do what will make you win (this includes buying wards if your support refuses to or only buys 1 at a time)

But you know if you buy early defenses, your team will be all "omg chain vest adc noob" because you're not 2 shotting things in the mid game. Because people are like that.

Even in a game with a coordinated team, having an AD that has the means to 1v1 a hero that dives them gives that team a lot more teamfighting flexibility.

Warden's is a lot cheaper though, while also building into a useful later-game item. If you're considering armor items in the 2.5k gold range, then your options start to compete with Guardian Angel.

i want to buy wards when i'm adc but i never have inventory space and i'm usually confined to bot lane and have no time to ward things like wraiths.
