Pretty much, see someone on half hp, spam qwe non stop and hope you penta. Obligatory -/all stupid noob team- if the teamfight is lost. Talk about how great you are if you get multiple kills this way.

oh my, the SC2 forum is like a warzone with the recent "league is stealing all the mojo" news going around. So much misinformation, too. Apparently LoL is only big in asian countries without income, has streams in its client, forces sponsors and teams to only play LoL, .... etc.
guess im in hiding here for a while.
It's ok, we'll keep you safe.
Also: lol, that's hilarious. The schadenfreude feeds me.

I still don't know how SC2 players got to the point where they considered having streams in-client a bad thing.
In-client streams are good. Direct in-client observing tournament games is better. If anything, Riot should be encouraged to develop features like this.

with that said, like, sometimes, i really think "how can i learn from toyz orianna or froggen's anivia" and all i can do is hope to find some match that they played instead of having an fpvod and that makes me kinda sad.
but man
i still miss BW

Or feed the enemy mid 4-0, then try to 1v1 them when they see them at 75% HP (and an abyssal or buffered RoA) in an empty lane and die. I mean I could understand the "he's got a kill streak, I'm less useful than him, I'll suicide so we are relatively stronger and can force an objective" when going 1v3 on a 50 HP fed enemy when your role isn't decisive in the teamfighting style of your comp (say Amumu), but they did it most of the time in the games I saw. And didn't get the kills.

actually, those posts made me realize why i didnt like SC2 all that much.
When i started with RTS, i played custom games in age of empires. there were rooms with thousands of people all creating custom games, all kind of maps, gamemodes and teamsizes. They were fun and i just played and played and somehow got good. Onyl then i started to play some ranked now and then and really realized how good i actually was. Then came tournaments and those clanwars.
in sc2, there was just ranked from the very start. I didnt get into it at all and even felt somehow guilty for not liking it more. But now i realize that a lot of people are like me and dont want to play hardcore ranked 1v1 all the time.
so kat is good now? i havent played a lot last months. i tried eve and not only is ignoring wards when it comes to ganking insanely strong, she can also just straight up kill someone in 2 seconds. Guess its a good champion to learn an agressive mid playstyle with. I normally play champs like morgana and i often times find myself rather forcing the enemy out of lane instead of influencing other lanes; and sometimes i regret it after the game is over.

Anyone who thinks BW/WC3's popularity and longevity came from competitive 1v1 and not from multiplayer/UMS/FFA/BGH/etc. either clearly never played those games or is lying out of their ass.

I'm just really really bad at SC, so I play league, which is not only easy as hell to play, but I can also blame my teammates for losing instead of myself.

Think of it as the cycle of abuse. I came to TL on the Wings of Liberty only to be thrashed down repeatedly by threatened BW veterans at every turn. Now it seems as though many of the people who came with me learned this behaviour and upon being similarly threatened.....

Except BW veterans bashed SC2 for features (or rather the lack thereof) that were legitimately bad (B.Net 2.0 was and still is atrociously designed).
SC2 players bash League for the sake of bashing something, even when its over something that League genuinely does better.

Its because most of these people have no idea what they're talking about (i.e. they've never actually seen the LoL client) and think that the stream autoplays in the client when you open it. That's obviously the only way for LoL to have so many viewers on stream during tournaments because how can such a no skill bad game have so many viewers etc..

I think it's because there's a sense of entitlement from SC2 people since they see SC2 has a build on from BW which it really isn't where as LoL/Dota etc. just kind of made their own name and don't have that background. Feel like they are the prodigal sons of eSports. At least that's my outlook. It could also be because the SC2 community doesn't actually play SC2 but rather plays SC2 drama simulator.

Even by that logic or misinformation it's STILL can't be looked at as a bad thing.
EDIT: Rofl my LoL client just crashed while I was typing this. Dammit RIOT PLS!

(For the record I agree somewhat, and do wish I had gotten into the scene earlier. Didn't make me feel any better about trying to enjoy a supposedly inferior game that I apparently should have hated myself for liking...?)

The funny thing is loads of old bw vets like league it's the guys who hopped on the bandwagon at sc2 who are really doing the LoL bashing.

I just heard Froggen bashing Toyz's Anivia, not his laning, but his teamfighting.

Kat is pretty strong. I just hate when someone on my team firstpicks Kat in soloq. Then the other team proceeds to counterpick mid + choose 3-4 other champs with hard CC.

Toyz can't hear Froggen over the sound of TPA's million dollars.
Also I watch with glee as SC2 crashes and burns. LoL and DotA are the ESPORTS of the future, get with the times yo.

Can we try to steer away from the bw sc2 dota2 stuff? Sorry, but every time we seem to talk about it, it eventually turns into a political shitstorm. ~_~;;
CLG Black vs MME Ferus right now. CLG Black using 2 subs, mb clg subs will carry.

Froggen's teamfight with this champ is unmatched imo. No amount of Toyz and Rapidstar can make it even. That's also why he can build retarded tank anivia in soloq.
