I still think if you have a ranged ap carry you will outscale kat lategame if you get your core items wether she is good or bad in laneing now. she is still a close range clean-up champ and provides no utility. other ap carries deal tons of damage when the fight starts and before that. kat relies completely on very good initiation or someone getting caught. I even think leblanc is better at that stage because her damage comes in a second, is less counterable and safer for her as well and she has better ratios and she's considered a shitty lategamer. | ||

Kat free week, I had a blind pick Kat game vs Cho mid. We won anyways because her teamfighting resets are OP and Cho didn't save his CC but laning was just me being sad and trying to farm under tower. | ||

I don't think anyone would disagree on that she is one of the worst lategame mids. I have seen alot of ap carries come back and do useful stuff after strugling during early- to midgame. I haven't seen a kat doing anything similar yet. | ||

Cho counters or goes even with most mids in general due to his op scream and great pushing ability. Hes also pretty tanky with lots of sustain so he's hard to harass out of lane. The biggest issue with cho is that he has to press his midgame advantage cause he will get outscaled damage-wise and become a (pretty darn good) cc bot. | ||

anyway, playing at this skill level you meet so many interesting people who are quick to blame and are all generally terrible, it's so funny. for example, we had a ziggs / darius top against a solo lee sin, and lee sin went 9/0. darius blames the lane on ziggs because "he chose a bad character" and "he wouldn't let me solo." lol what? we lost that game because our vayne chased into a bush with two people in what was probably the most obvious bait i've ever seen. this vayne also said "guys buy wards. if we don't buy wards we can't win." in my second game i racked up a ton of kills as jungler because the other team would just push the tower and i as riven jungle would murder them. their bot lane was super awful, with ez/twitch at like 0/7 - 2/10, and the ez was telling us in allchat to report twitch for feeding, lol. my favorite is when they blame their team for losing. like they'll get caught solo in the jungle and they get destroyed. "omg this team sucks." even if i lose, the game is so amusing just listening to them complain about things that aren't really the problem on why we lost, while in the background my friend and I are quoting street fighter and random inside jokes in allchat. | ||
