I wonder how the new "AD caster" item would be on Olaf, I mean bruta isn't bad on him since he already gets so much free ArPen, and then you have some cdr and spellvamp on it. Add in W and Reckless Swing's cost wouldn't actually be that high (I noted once that if there's a WotA on his team and he turns level 5 W on before hand, Olaf actually heals himself from Reckless Swing). | ||

If it is true, it would serve as a way for other teams to have a chance. All the Riot sponsored teams have done well and, as such, received nice compensation. This would allow other teams to step up and prove themselves without having the huge teams dominate the scene. | ||

At the same time, it has the potential to harm viewership of those smaller tournaments that those newer teams are supposed to make their name in. There's a lot of fans who only really watch tournaments their favorite teams are in. If their favorite circuit teams aren't participating in these other tournaments, they're not going to watch them, and therefore not be exposed to these new teams we want them to be exposed to. | ||

They probably won't participate in random online tournies or stuff like that, which really isn't a big deal imo. It's a good move towards professionalism in LoL I think. | ||

Yeah, but how do you actually manage both then? Any tourney with both big pro teams and new, B-level teams is going to be dominated by the A-listers and the B-teams are going to get ignored at best, unless they hugely upset someone big. Unless you have like, an open bracket style for B-listers with an invite structure like some SC tourneys do, but even then many people won't watch the open bracket, and the people that make it through are more than likely just going to be food for a pro team. | ||

It looks like TPA is working towards setting up a second team here (having a second player in 4 out of 5 positions right now.) Has there been any word about this from interviews with the team that I don't know about? Obviously opens doors from invisible inhouse practicing which TPA has already shown to really use a lot. | ||

From what I saw Caitlyn and Corki can do similar stuff (so Tristana and Graves should do, dunno about Vayne). | ||
