Only knockups/knockbacks do.

It's a matter of timing. If you root them after they cast their dash but before they actually start their dash, then they will dash and land on the other side rooted. If they start their dash and you root them mid-dash, then they will stop their dash mid-dash and be rooted.

I think it's some funny thing to do with spell priority. Kinda like how anivia wall works. If you cast the wall before trist jumps, she can jump over it, but if you cast after she's jumped, she will be stopped by wall.

You might notice if a wall on top of someone, he gets pushed to the side a little? It's the same principle, it just happens to a moving dude. You really need to hit her tho, if it's too far off, she'll just fly over. It's really hard to do imo.

Has anyone tried Elise yet? She seems like a really shitty mid laner due to lack of real burst, bruisers with gap closers top shit on her, the only thing I could see working for her is jungle cause of her spider form W which isnt even that good. She feels really awkward and weak in lane, even though (to me) her kit sounds really strong

I feel that people don't quite understand her tankiness from her E very well haha. With 1 BT at around level 14, if your E is level 5 then you can shield up to 340~ damage if I remember correctly. People just see her as another bruiser and build her as such without really looking at her abilities. :3

For Riven, it's better, in my opinion, to just stack DBlade. It gives her the quick clear and sustain (slight but it also boosts her E) for the jungle. Wriggle's, I think should generally be avoided. But with Brutalizer, you should only get it if you really feel that you need to snowball. It's an investment that somewhat falls off in midgame and I generally avoid it unless I feel that I have to snowball in jungle/Top lane in order to assist other lanes. Just working toward BT generally is better. Yes you will lack a actual increase in damage longer than others because BT Sword costs high, but your kit allows for you to contribute in teamfights and provide quick stuns/knockbacks because her kit and R is so strong.

Just had the most amazing lol experience, lost like 20 ranked in a row, I'm down from 1450 to 1250. I consider that I could have won if played better like 10 out of those 20 game, and the others were just impossible to carry.
