To go along with what Yango said, Diana is stupid as first pick. There's really no bad lane match ups that she has mid. And she can be run top lane. I guarantee you won't see Diana picked or banned once at Worlds. As an aside, OH GOD THE WAIT ON THIS RIVEN SKIN IS KILLING ME! what riven skin?! There will be a Riven skin given away at the Finals and in the shop the week after. Also, during the finals a code will displayed for a Riven summoner icon. http://competitive.na.leagueoflegends.com/season-2-world-championship So you'll be able to buy the skin but not the icon? You'll be able to buy the skin, the icon will be available via-code in the finals stream (i hope someone gets me the code since i'll prolly won't be watching it :C)

I'm hoping this thread will have the code for those who won't be able to watch it all

So I had a premade pick Kennen and Leona as botlane... apart from the usual QQ (fp and lp, they sucked, didn't communicate, fed w/o the enemy ganking, etc.), they were certain they would beat MF+Taric they picked into, and that they'd carry, all that stuff. Is it me or shouldn't Kennen AD not even be considered an option anymore since he doesn't trade nor burst well, and the last nerf on his range (550->500) makes him a pretty shitty AD carry now? I was surprised at their decision considering all the nerfs since it was first popular.
Also, several people here said Swain was a hard match-up for Diana. How come? I'd think her shield is good since Swain's mostly DoT, he doesn't have any escapes so he should be easy to gank with her E, and since her Q doesn't cost much, she can pretty much last hit carefully with it then just shove the lane and roam (as Swain pushes very badly), couldn't she?

AD kennen still the only AD who can multistun (unless you count annie lolol), and his W is a mild AD steroid
Not the optimal AD carry but unless you're 2000+ it's not like an instalose if someone picks him
EDIT: Also the nerf was attack range 575->550, not 550->500, so he still matches the range of several AD carries

The only time I've seen Jayce have a hard time was vs a pure tank Garen, and even then it was because Jayce was shit.
Fuck this guy, worse than Rumble, Vlad and Yorick combined. At least Rengar you can somewhat safely lane against as a ranged pick like Vlad or Teemo, Jayce is fucking dumb. Wukong is pretty decent, so is Kayle and Cho aswell. I can honestly not see Wukong being any better than anyone else, other than the fact that you might be able to mindgame out Jayce with stealth. He'll still chunk and harass harder than Wu can ever really hope to, unless the only thing you ever do in lane is dash > slap > stealth away and lose in farm.
Kayle and Cho, sure they turn it into a farm lane because they can escape/sustain/survive his harass and farm relatively safely, but they don't "beat" Jayce by any stretch of the imagination. And I agree with Away, I honestly don't think there is unless the Jayce player is crap and gets outplayed. Maaaybe Yorick, becuase fucking Yorick, but Jayce basically has infinite mana and can farm easily, and pound for pound he's better than Yorick late game with similar farm unless Yorick has a fed-ass Vayne/Kog/Trist to ult in every teamfight.
Personally? I laughed every time I got to pick Jayce and dodged every game I'd have to go top against him save two as Nunu. And even those games I got shit on hard once and the other time he was complete crap who couldn't harass or manage his health and cooldowns. Any Jayce who knows what the hell he's doing is mostly ungankable and untrade-able, it's either silly when you play it or fucking dumb when your opponent does. He's joined my list of Yorick and Rumble of "shit I don't want to deal with", except I actually play him when I can.

Ever played a melee against a decent Swain? Harasses as much if not more than fucking Teemo. Pre-6 Swain is basically resourceless due to his passive, so you eat his EQ+autos every time you last hit something in melee. Diana won't be able to do much back to him, since she is melee and can run out of mana, so all Diana can really do is try and get as many last hits with Q. Post-6, when Diana can jump Swain, he can survive her all in by peeling her off of him and sustaining with his ult while actually killing Diana in the process.
I'd think Diana can farm in this match-up with her easy shoving low cost Q, but she struggles early.
Ganking him heavily depends on the jungler ganking. Someone that has to run up to him will have a hard time with Swains Q and W, even if Diana gets her E on him. Also if Swain gets ahead, a gank on him will just result in 2 more kills for Swain. But yeah, good ganks can turn any lane around.

In BW, it's not that everything is OP but rather, there are specific timing windows to hit where certain strategies are dominant and you have to deal with it, either before they get there, or trying to survive that phase and get to your timing. Same with DotA, except if you're Lycan. Fuck Lycan, so OP.
The way laning phase plays out in LoL just doesn't support that at the moment.

Laugh because at level 2 on you're pretty much more dangerous than he can hope to be, and as long as you can dodge harpoons and know how to ward you win the lane. If he Flamespitters in your face, your Hammer E does more damage than the 2 seconds you'll be in it, and gate + shift is faster than his speed boost. The only thing Rumble does better is gank assist with harpoons and ult, so just don't overextend or tunnel vision and you'll either smash him or farm easily.
Jayce to me is "ugh I don't want to deal with this shit but if I have to I'll pick Jayce" champion.

I think it's more that everyone "scales" in lol where as in Dota they don't and in BW to a lesser extent they don't(Kind of scaling in rts is weird). Don't really know if you can apply the same logic with all the scaling.

A little bit random: What do you guys think of AD Sona in 3v3s? I've been playing some games with her for fun and have been really succesful. Don't know if it's the enemy just not knowing her skillset/how to handle her or if she is really good. You do a considerable amount of damage with auto attacks + q and are really useful for your team with your w/e/r. Most of the time i built Trinity Force and when thats finished the game's over most of the time. Thoughts?

I don't think I could go back to DotA where something like AP doesn't exist for scaling casters

Holy shit I love Sivir. I'll probably love her less if I don't come back to draft normals before my ranked Elo reaches 1400 again, but an AD carry with skillshots, burst, a fulfilling defensive skill and mobility? Yes please! I managed to get an early BT thanks to some great teamwork, and it gives so much burst with a Sona support (didn't watch how much damage her Q adds to yours through the AP boost too), you get jumped by an assassin, say "FUCK you" and kill him faster than Corki or Ezreal could.
It'll be so depressing to try and play her once my opponents get decent again and abuse my range.

Sivir is really strong,
I like playing Sivir/Taric.
The stun/armor shred into double auto Q damage is insane.

I've been playing a lot of Kha'Zix lately, and duo'd a few blind normals with Kha Lulu bot lane. He seems pretty strong, I'm surprised at his low win rate in ranked, but he did just come out.
