And occasionally you need to use a Q cooldown to cs, or it'll come off cd during a time when the opponent has no reason to come into range. You won't get any damage to stick without going into Annie's range. | ||

maxing W first allows for potentially setting up better hooks maxing E first allows for more fight disruption which can make the difference in skirmishes in the early to mid game although landing a Q tends to already be advantage enough | ||

I use to max Q first, but Max E is actually much better. The chances are, you're not gunna be abusing Q off of every cooldown, you simply don't have the early mana for it. And generally you want to pick your fights, not indiscriminately grabbing all the time. The change in CD E will have more impact than the CD on Q. Since in short fights/skirmishes you'll be abusing E way more. | ||
