Most try to hit you with their Q as an engage. Katarina cannot trade AA with almost any mid champion (Anivia being the exception that I can think of right off the bat). Normally I'd never let a champ AA me (movespeed from W takes you out of range unless they're ranged). I'd be interested to know how Kat trades vs. someone who neglects Q and trades with W, E and AAs. If Diana pops shield every time Kat gets within shunpo range, I think there'd be a mana problem pretty fast. If she doesn't Kat gets full QEW combo unshielded and tries to run out before AAs land. E to pull back, slowed for 2 secs, land AAs. Kat gets another W and then escapes. Also, Diana's E would be on cd for some of the trades. Liek I said, I don't know how that would trade in sheer numbers but that's how I figure it'd go. All I have are guesses though  | ||

Cant do that with alienman | ||

If you headbutt every Q, then yes, you are screwed. Kat can never shunpo to Diana if she has Q up. I don't think the match is completely unwinnable for Kat but it favors Diana for sure. As Kat you can wait for Diana to farm minions with Q and then jump to her but if jungler is near mid it's risky. If Diana has Q up and you shunpo to Diana you will die. What kind of Diana's do you play against that miss point blank Qs? Kats W isn't significant enough to let her dodge a Diana Q after you shunpo to her. | ||

all of her current strong points, except for wave clear were stronger pre-rework so now i feel like i'm left with a worse version of the same champion that was riding a DFG/flat pen + roaming trend that lead to people recognizing that she wasn't actually terrible way too late :/ | ||

If anything I would rather have the item be significantly cheaper but apply a flat damage nuke instead of fully %based so roaming starts even earlyer. actually if you think about it riot did some good things to make the game more aggressive in the early-midgame: The new junglers have very strong gank kits, dfg fits assassins better, mr runes have been nerfed, mpen runes buffed. there are more aggressive supports like leona and lulu, who have strong base damage but low scaling, sustain has been nerfed over the board. I like that and I hope the trend goes on a little bit so playing passive champions and farming in general becomes riskier and has to be planned better. If they nerf turret damage and make wards actually cost something then I would be even more happy (especially since I love to play support) | ||

Draven is pretty much the strongest ad carry early game,yet he doesn't get played as much because corki,ezreal and graves have far far superior mobility. I doubt they will do much about ezreals damage maybe a tiny nerf, but if they suddenly slam his Q or W it will be a off the mark nerf,what they need to hit is his mobility. | ||

What reds/quints to use on Draven? atm i roll with pure AD, but would Armorpen be more worth it in the long run? I could also go with Movement or Lifesteal-Quints, but i don't think that they are that valuable with Draven. And what Masterie do you prefer with him? 21/9/0 21/0/9 - MS 21/0/9 - Manareg | ||

I feel that if your mechanics are good enough to catch axes with any reliability, the bonus damage from Q/armor pen will make up for not using AD marks. I haven't done the math, but it's probably right. | ||
